I got the same call n told me he will stay on the phone til i receive the $$$ but must deposit $315 by western union i snapped and told em he better b lucky we on the phone n not person......

I got the same call saying I am to be awarded 7,000 from the US govt since I did not have a criminal record and have paid my taxes on time (!!!!!!) Was told to contact Albert Scott at 253-343-7176 to verify.

yeah i got the same call and it's fake good thing i googled albert scott and found this site and read all yours comments...got to be careful these days...like R. Jones said you don't pay nothing for a grant..hope people catch on to this and don't go throught this..

Got that call today from #210-423-1190. you're right. "nichole" had me to call 206-317-1580. they wanted eather my bank account # or my credit card #. I told them cash. they told me I had to pay $300 dollars, "a one time fee" at Western Union, and it will be refunded. I told them "grants are free", and dude hung up. People, YOU DO NOT PAY ANYTHING FOR GRANTS. NO one time fee,no deposit, nothing.

I had exactly the same call, they said that they calling from Department of Treasury, that i can get grand for $10000. They said that i can call Rick Miller and talk to him about it. People it is 100% spam, because they gave me address for D of Treasury in Washington, DC. There is no D of T located at this address, but also I called real D of T and I talk to them about this, and let me tell you I felt really stupid.

The mans name for me to call was Rick Miller @ 1206-855-3074 claimed they were with US Treasuer

Were a department of treasury in Wasingtom DC. They kept asking me how would I like to get the money. Gave  me the option to get a wire or money order or put it in my account.  Well I knew it wasn't trasry then because

i got the same call too. this guy told me to call his manager his name was Rick Miller. i call and he said he will call me back because he need to look up my info. Never got a call back. totally a SCAM! kind of scary because they have my name, address, and number.

I recieved the same call last night and when I asked if it was a scam that became angry with me and asked me not to call back. Definitely a scam.

Received the same call from a Jeremy, saying that I am qualified for the same grant.  Called Albert Scott at the same number, 206-855-3074, and said to go to the nearest Western Union to deposit $190 and within 20 minutes I would receive the grant money.  What should I do?  I really need the money to pay off debt. Ugh!!!!
