Called and said that I was chosen to receive a "Free Grant" from the U.S Gov't in the amount of $6700 I just had to call the number provided and ask for Erica Johnson...Seems as if this SCAM has taken on may forms.  Also stated that "You don't have to pay it back and it could be used to pay bill, home repair etc...and only 200 people qualify in the WHOLE COUNTRY!"  You can hear in the back round a massive phone room with the same speech going on....Nice Try Guys!

HOW DID U GET UR MONEY BACK FROM THESE PPL

I've recieved several phone calls from this number sayin that they were going to send me 5000$ grant for being a good citizen but i had to send them 150$ .. scam..

The number is 206-337-7381. I don't know why the people in Washington are calling I work at Goodwill Industries here in Danville. Maybe they want me to vote on somthing I wish the woud let me know what it is.

Call nearly every day.  Funny thing is they call my fax machine.  Get a clue.  That buzzing sound you hear is not going to donate a damn thing.

Called on 10/11/09 at 1 AM. Received data transmission. Used *69 and it was for the Washington FOP. Called the number and this is how I determined who it was. My question is this... What **** are they calling me for at 1 AM. It'll will be reported to the local Police Department. Charges will be filed. I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST. What part of breaking the law do they not understand? Um... can you say $10,000 fine for every violation.

These people call me RELENTLESSLY and I am on the national Do Not Call list.

Received a call from this number asking for the lady of the house, I said no and hung up.

As for being on the Do Not Call List, I believe that charitable organizations are exempt from this list.  They can call and ask for donations, you can ask them to remove your name from their list.

Another tactic I like, is to ask the solicitor how much of your donated $$$ goes to the organization and how much is used for covering the expenses of the call center (administration).  I usually find that the amount is about .12 to .20 cents per dollar collected.  Tell them you would prefer to give the money directly to the local law enforcement and to remove you name from their lists.

Nonsense!  It's a SCAM, plain and simple. THEY want YOUR money!  I think you're "handle" SNOW is quite appropriate, as in SNOW JOB.  :)

FOP calls me incessantly and it's beyond annoying.

I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there?s information on www.wafop.com . Plus, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.
The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for Washington police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

this man has been calling for weeks asking for my husband.. when I say he is not here he then says I need to talk to him as we talked to him before I will call back later..  He has called four times since Christmas.. this morning he made a bad mistake as I had not had coffee and he woke me up.. He was rude and abrupt and would not let me talk.. I told him that my husband said he has never talked to you people and he went quite.. then he stammered some words and said he will call back later and hung up on me while I was still talking.. I hit redial and did get a nice lady from their Customer service.  I told her what happened and that our number was to be removed from their call list or I was going to the FCA or whoever else it will take to get them to stop.  I told her my dad is a retired policeman 30 years and I repect our law enforcement to the max but I will not stand for being treated on the phone the way I was by a so called representive of their foundation... She was sorry and said he was not trained to speak that way to people... and we are removed within 24 hours. We shall see.... but it looks like they use other area codes... what jerks.. I will never donate a dime over the phone.. I much rather give it to the local police dept. in hand ..... these people need to stop what they are doing it is giving the Respected Police officers a bad rap for nothing they are involved with ....

the call I received claimed that they had been sending me paperwork for several months.  I told them I did not remember receiving any.  The man kept pressuring me to use my credit card over the phone or to use their "secure" web site.  When I told him my father-in-law had died and things had been crazy and I prefered the paperwork, he said, " I'm so sorry" and hung up on me. He really did sound sorry, but I don't trust anyone who pressures me to use a credit card over the phone and won't send out paperwork for me to look over.

I keep getting calls from 206-866-1923 also 425-437-0641 as well as 425-437-0650  also with a 253 and 360 area code as well. I keep asking them NOT TO CALL ME ANYMORE but they continue to do so. When one area code calls and I say dont call here again I then get a call the next day from a different area code within Washington. Does anyone know how to stop them? Caller asked for the lady of the house, I said 'that is me what can I help you with?". Then they disconnected. I called the number back and it was a dead end. No one ever picked up and the mail box is full. I am sure that this is a scam to hack the phone lines.
