these people keep calling me, i asked them to stop but they keep calling please no more calls 6am and 10pm please

man thats crazy i just got the same call from sam martin asking me did i just try calling but i did cuz i wasnt authorized to call this number i shrewed up an gave my acount info i had a idiot moment an had to cancel everything

I just got the same call with the same story as everyone else. I should have hung up right away but decided to investigate. They said they were the US claims dept and I asked them to prove it. Well they couldn't. If the government is going to give you a bonus it will be thru your tax returns not some weird random call where they ask for your credit card info or where they ask you to send them money. This is so horrible that these crooks are taking advantage of people. Something should be done especially since they are impersonating the US government.

I just talk a Guy and he  said that I was getting 7000 so I gave him a fake card so he would stop calling and he did. But I have to call Sam..... not going to happen.

I called that number and was busy.. then they return my call and it was sam wilson... lol i told him to remove me from the scam list and i told him i had contacted my lawyer  and my next step will be the FBI then right away he freaked out... lol so people be very careful...

these people called me at least 30 times over the past 5 or 6 days. I finally decided to answer and they said the thing about the $7K, they said they are not a company, they are the federal government grant agency. I was stupid enough to give them my bank account #, but I purposely gave them the wrong routing #. I'm going to alert my bank anyway, but there has to be some organization that can go after these people, since I would imagine its a crime to say you are the federal government when you're some POS crook from India.  Its funny how everyone got the same name, Sam Martin. lol.   If anyone has any suggestions on who to call about this, maybe everyone should to protect people. I'm sure a lot of elderly people will get swindled.

My son who is very naive in the world of crooks, received a call this evening from a "Henry Wilson" who, was clearly not as American as his name sounds.He claimed that he was from the "US Federal Grants Dept." He claimed my son had been awarded a $7000 grant, same old story as everyone else I've been reading about. He wanted his bank account # and my son was getting ready to give it to him when I stepped in. My son gave me the phone and when I started to question the guy he became evasive. I told him if this was legitimate then he could send a check and did not need my son's bank account. He told me he couldn't do that and hung up. These people are crooks. DO NOT give them money.

I just got a call from a 888-819-4470 and could not understand what the person was saying then got a call from 813-413-7195 saying that he was sorry that I could not understand them. He said that I can receive a $7000 today in my bank account. They asked for my bank account number. I stated to him that I rather receive a check. He said they can't do that. I told him he can since the government always sends us our bank return in a  check. I say fine and gave him my account number he said that is all they need, He gave me a confirmation RD213 to contact Sam Martin at 206-866-5557 and he then asked for my rounting number. I told him I wasn't going to give them that info Then he said then why the hell you calling me and hung up. Are you serious I just got a call just as typing this from a women 575-546-1575 offering me they're scam again. I told her I'm not interested in their scam and I'm going to report them. She hung up.

They are probably collecting money for a terrorist organization, because they get pissed when you start asking too many questions

The sob actually told me my confirmation code was RC911 !!! He claimed to be Richard Cook and said I needed to call Sam Martin yeah right ! They could barely even speak English.

One of these numbers actually had a voicemail set up so I left a pretty nasty message and told them they suck at being criminals because they are to stupid to do their research on government grants before making these calls.. something like the FBI will f*** you up... so pack up your s*** and go back to wherever it is you came from! I feel bad for anyone who followed through with it ... I almost did but, then they had no answers for my questions and just made themselves look stupid!

I almost fell for it. Dont feel bad the first guy was convincing and I gave them my debit card number because they were supposed to send me money first. Then I caledl the other guy and it changed to I had to send them $280 then I knew something wasnt right so I pulled the money off my card and put a freeze on the card. contact your bank or card carrier immediately. I even contacted the FBI and western union to let them know what was going on. And now if you call those numbers that called you... they are disconnected.

I just got a call from an unknown number and they told me the same as above, if I send them $280 they will direct deposit $7000.... Obviously its a scam so I will not be sending them any money, glad I checked up on this number...

If you got an unknown call saying that you have been selected to receive a grant for $7000 don't believe it.  These people are trying to run a major SCAM.  Some dude trying his hardest to not sound too middle eastern gives me a confirmation # BK507 and tells me to call a guy named Sam Martin at (206)-866-5557.  I called this guy and he says yes you have been selected to receive $7000 based on not having a criminal record, paid up taxes, and no bankruptcy on file.  Then he says all you have to do is send $320 Western Union to some charity but wouldn't give me the info until I was at the Western Union.  Well federal grants never ask you for money up front so that was the ultimate red flag.  These folks ridiculous out here BE CAREFUL.
