call shown as unknown person

Doesn't matter if you report it, they will do nothing about it. I reported it as well, I am on the National Do Not Call and the NY State Do Not Call list. I also reported it to the WA Attorney General's office who looked into it but the company the number is registered to, ITL - International Telcom ltd. claims they have no clients that have that number registered to them. Basically they said to call my local phone company and have the number traced to deal with it myself.

I AM ON DO NOT CALL LIST AND I REPORTED THE NUMBER TO NY STATE.

I keep getting calls from this number at early morning hours and it looks as if many others do also.

I received a call from this number on 2/10 in mid-afternoon. We let it ring. There was no message.

called at12:20 am, and then again at 6pm.  when we try to call the number back, there is no answer

Did not pick up. No message left.
Suspect it's a political campaign, but wouldn't they leave a message??

Received "spam" fax on 2/11/20008 at 5:40 pm/EST from 206-888-1934, caller "name" ITL.  

This appears to be a follow-up on the phishing call to my phone of 2/10/2008 at 9:51 pm/EST where the fax printed "daDASDASDADSdsaaa nnnnnss" with no voice contact. This call showed the caller's number as 206-337-0577 and the same "name" ITL.

Fax of 2/11 was ad for prescription drugs from Onemeds.net.  Wording and grammar suggests the writer learned English as a second or third language so checking the website ownership I found the same Phillipine owner as for the Bigmeds.net website previously mentioned.

Got the same caller 206-888-1934  At 2:46 in the a.m. and again at 5:21 this evening.   completely annoying  caller id:  ITL

For what its worth, PH is the Philippines and 63 is their Country code.

Hello, my name is Jody and I work at International Telcom LTD (ITL).  We are a local exchange telephone company just like Qwest.  I have received numerous complaints about bothersome calls that are coming from specific caller IDs - especially 206-337-0577, 206-888-1934 and 206 888 8920.  These numbers that appear on the caller ID do in fact belong to my company, however these calls did not actually come from those numbers nor have they gone through our network in any way.  It appears that the person making these calls is spoofing/faking their caller ID to appear as these numbers, but the calls are actually coming from somewhere else.  This needs to stop.  Not only is this dragging my company's name through the mud, but I am also receiving numerous threats from angry people who have been woken up in the middle of the night.  Please be assured that I am doing everything in my power to stop this from continuing, and urge you to please file a complaint with your local telephone company as they should be able to track down the actual number that these calls came from (not just the fake caller ID that is being sent).  I want you to know that I am very sorry for the bother that this very irritating scam has caused.  Please help me to get this to stop by contacting your local telephone company.

i foolishly answered, and when I heard the modem sounds told the fax machine to pickup. it was spam from bigmeds.com. ugh.

1st call comes in, no one there. The next day, I get a fax from them. No identification on the top part of the fax. But it seems they are hustling some medication. The fax has an internet address of bigmeds.net. They want you to visit their website to "cancel your subscription" at http://bigmeds.net/unscubscribe.php  well, I wouldnt go there, this only confirms your phone number or whatever else they want from you. My advice is to just ignore it, maybe they will go away. If not report them to your local Atty. General

I got my first call on Feburary 8th 2008 at 10:57am and out of area no name as to who is calling and no message left as well. I received another call on February 10th 2008 at 10:18am and this time it said ITL from my caller ID and no message was left. I am also on the DNC list as well. I do not answer my phone if I do not reconize who is calling. This is annoying. I hope they do not call again.

Feb 10, 2008 @ 6:10-phone rang, didn't answer. No message left on the machine. Caller ID ITL 206-888-1934.

7:30PM Sunday Evening.
Dead Air on my voicemail.
Wouldn't have thought anything of it except that a search revealed a TON of people who are reporting this number.

received call at 8:16 tonight from this number...strange

I got one of these calls too.  Looking at the nature of the ITL business, I'll bet someone overseas has figured out a way to dial numbers for free and is war dialing, looking for modems.  Seems pointless in todays world of the internet, but I can't come up with anything else that makes sense.

Also received this @ 8:45 Eastern time. No message left, not gonna investigate thanks to you all! Have 1 main friend in Seattle area, 253, but now I know it's not her. thanks, folks

Receive call fom 2068881934 at 10:13 pm tonight on home phone in Massachusetts.

Dead silence.   If you are on the NO CALL LIST, Go to the NO Call website and file a complaint online. It costs them $500.00 for each violation.

I have done this before with other telemarketers and the calls stop fast!
