Got a call from 206-965-8152 at 9:05 am PST on 10-20-09. Caller hung up when I answered.

just called & hung up... must be a time tracker to see when you'll pick up your phone, just keep calling back and calling back and they'll answer because they get sick of hearing an empty phone ring and ring... talked to "jacob" who was actually very nice... he took me off their call list *AND* their provider's call list.

I called this number back on 12/8/2009.  It has an automated message saying the company's name is National Motor Sales.  They do not pick up the phone even after calling 10 seperate times.  They try to spam you into giving them your personal information to contact them.  I didn't, instead I filed a complaint with donotcall.gov.

I answered but no voice or sound on other end. I called the number back, it rang once, then "dead air".

Called me several times over a week-No response/no message.  Craigslist & cars.com ad posted.

I received a call from this number 206 965 8152, when I answered they hung up. I have acar lsisted on Craigs List, FIJIJI and Autotrader.

This is the 2nd time I've gotten a call from this jerk. The 1st time the number left a voice mail telling me they saw my ad on Craigslist and wanted to help me get my car sold fast. I never put an ad on Craigslist to sell any car.

February 3, 2010 got a call from the a***oles at this phone number 206-965-8152.  I wasn't available to take the call... just saw the number on my caller ID.  I did place a car ad on Craiglist recently & that is where the scumballs got my number. I didn't bother checking my voice mail, but rather typed the number on a search engine & found this site with all you other people who have had the same problem with the same scam artist. Wishing cancer on this guy, and on his wife, and on his children, and other family. Nothing personal.  I just hate C'sList scammers that much!

Got a call from 206-965-8152 almost immediately after posting a car ad on Craiglist.  They must be on speed dial for new ads.  Upon review of the comments, it is obviously a scam.  Thanks for the head's up.

I've received a few calls from this number. This time the guy left a message and told me how he could sell my truck  for more than the blue book,,,,it's a 1954 chevy custom truck!! What's the blue book value?? I have limited minutes on my cell phone that he keeps wasting! I also had a craigslist add, and on the national do not call list.

I got a call as well but didn't even bother answering the call! its a scam.

Got a call from this number at 10:10am. Person hung up as soon as I answered. I looked it up and got this site, after reading so many comments I called number back - yep it's a telemarketer. Got a recording saying that IF I wanted to be PERMANTELY removed to press "1" and hang up.So I did. Also interesting that I have a listing on Craigslist too and have the box marked not to contact me trying to sell other items. Craigslist must be where they are culling numbers from as well. Obviously they are not checking the numbers against the national DO NOT CALL registry, otherwise they wouldn't have called.

received instantaneous calls on my home and cell phone, both hang-ups, the cell reported the number in question, so i assume National Car Sales now has my home phone #. They've left numerous messages on my home/cell. A nuisance!

got a call from this number.  A Bailey wanted to help me sell my car.  Seems like the only calls i get from my www.cars.com add are from people wanting to help me sell my car, not buy it.

Same experience.  Have my car listed on craigs list and a LOCAL site.  Craigslist doesn't have my phone #, but the local site does.  For things like ebay and craigslist.  I have set up a separate email account used only as a contact for them.  I also don't put my number on them, but tell them to reply to the ad with giving me there phone # and I will call them.

these two things have reduced the number of bogus calls, and have also helped me weed out where a lot of the spam mail is coming from so I can report it.

BTW, also got a call from a nevada number - 702-567-8866, which did the same thing, actually got a recording when I answered almost immediately, it was an outfit that said they could sell my car if I gave them $500

Keeps calling daily - no one on the other end. Very annoying but I don't know how to stop the calls.

They called me up after posting several ads on craigslist. I sell cars and more often than not, if you post car listings or respond to them these moron scam artists come out of the woodworks. Most of the time if you see a deal on there too good to be true, it usualy is. Alot of our lead providing vendors use those ads as bait to sell as leads to dealerships so if you email up on some of those ads dont be surprised when the emails or phone calls start rolling in. if the ad has a phone number and you are interested just call.
