I received a phone call for the 5th time now from the same group of people. The last 3 times I've received a call, the guy on the other end claims to be "Officer Sam Brown". However, he sounds like he just got off the plane from India. He claims I owe money for an unpaid payday loan. I have no idea what he's talking about. He keeps claiming to block my SS# and find my address and come to my house, etc., etc. How do these people get away with this? I am appauled! All I know is there is a special place in HELL for people like this. Especially, when they prey on people who are older, unsuspecting, or just plain naive about these things.

I just got a call from Kevin Smith (notice how he keeps using celebrity names?) he also had a foreign accent. He claimed to be from the Federal Crimes & Investigations Department in Seattle. He said I had an unpaid loan from USA Fast Cash. He said I was going to be charged with violation of federal banking regulations, collateral check fraud and theft by deception. They said they were going to have the Orlando Sheriff pick me up tomorrow. He said I was defaulting on a payment of $325. I called my bank and verified that there had not been any sort of payment. We put a stop on any transactions from that company. It definitely got me riled up. So glad I googled that phone number. Phew!
Oh and he said that Richard Hamilton was his supervisor. He had my address, bank account number and social security numbers. He would not give me a date that the transfer was supposed to have occurred just vaguely said that it was 2009.

They got me for $300 and now they want $650. The mistake they made this time was using the name of a legitimate company that I do have a loan with. These people are scary! Scary enough that I gave them $300. Thanks to sites like this, I know this is a scam now and have filed reports with the police, FBI, FTC and secert service. They also called from 206-855-5267, 206-965-8370, and 206-965-8360. they used the names, Jack Anderson, John Patterson, & Leo Rogers.

I've been getting phone calls from an Officer Brandon Smith from the Federal Crimes & Fraud Investigations Department. When I tried to call him back they told me that he had left for the day and the gentleman that I was talking to said he was the supervisor and he needed my name and number so that he could leave a message for Brandon. I explained that he had all that information because he contacted me but he insisted. I finally told him that I would call him back. He told me ok but not on the weekend because they did not work weekends. He has called several times and left a message on my cell phone. This is the first time i've tried to call him back but he conveniently was not available. These people also had a very strong arab or indian accent and were very hard to understand. There was also alot of noise in the background.

Just got a harassing call from these people at work. Said his name was Kevin Smith, and I needed to give him all my bank information. Are they would have cops to my home to pick me up. This is horrible, for some pay day loan from years ago. How can they can get away with this, and none the less calling my job.
Is there anything we can do to fight it.

Just got a phone call from this number. Man tried to get me to verbally contract with him on the phone. He kept trying to get me to agree to let him read me an affidavit. I told him to send it certified mail at which time i would respond. He refused to send any correspondance fax, e-mail, or mail. I kept telling him that i didn't concent to contracting with him nor did i concent to the conversation. He procedded to tell me i would be arrested within 35 hours for not contracting with him. He said it was for a payday loan from Fast cash or something like that and that he was with the "Financial Crime Investigation Department". Just FYI, Article II section 15 of the Idaho Constitution says: There shall be no imprisonment for debt in this State, except in cases of fraud.

Hey,
I received a call from this number from a person supposedly named "Richard Hamilton". He has a thick Indian accent and claims I owe $764 for a loan that wasn't paid for. He said that if I don't send him a notarized letter with my bank information, he will send my case to the CA court and an officer will arrest me for fraud. I'm trying to investigate whether this is a scam too.

A PERSON AT THIS PHONE # KEEPS CALLING ME AND HARASSING ME AT MY JOB. WHEN ASKED THE NAME OF THE COMPANY THEY ARE WITH, THEY REFUSE TO SAY AND GIVE A BOGUS FIRST & LAST NAME. THEY TOLD A COWORKER THAT I TOOK A LOAN FROM THEM, WHICH I FAILED TO PAY BACK. I NEVER TOOK A LOAN FROM ANYONE. HOW CAN I INVESTIGATE IF THIS IS A SCAM OR NOT? IS THERE A WEBSITE WITH ACCESS TO THAT INFORMATION TYPE?
