They didn't leave a message just the caller ID.  I was wondering who called and now I know

Do not answer and do not give any information. www.donotcall.gov not helping to deter these unwanted call nor being unlisted...prosecute,prosecute, and stop them. Others: 206-496-0411 DE Serv Comm and IC System 603-414-1921. Don't think changing numbers help. Did not have thiese unwanted calls until lately, ???. Do not answer unless you recognize the caller, if it is really important, they will leave a message anyway & if it is a telemarket, delete, and block number if you can.

STIMULUS HELP.....  no real business works that way. I say its a scam.

I've received this call 2 days in a row.  
The first time, I just hung up when the recording started.
Today (3/30) The called and hung up.  Then just as I am typing this, they called again.
Pressing "2" to be removed doesn't work.  I left a message ordering them to remove my number and never to call again.  I'll let you know if it works.

This is a company that claims to give you low cost mortgage from the U.S. government. Whan I asked to be removed I was laughed at and told to shut up and listen if I wanted to be removed.  After I told them not to talk to me that way, they hung up.... Do other people really give money to clowns like this?

This group has called repeatedly over the past month or so, even after we have "pressed 1 to opt out" many, many times.  I have even called the number on the caller ID back over and over.  Nothing has stopped the annoying calls. Sure hope there is help somewhere to obliterate this group's pestilence!

I've turned this number in many times to the DoNoCall.gov site. My guess is ... Agents are at their desk looking a porn and not customer email. The Government is a scam

Received this call today from 207-208-8634 saying that there was money available for the Federal Stimulus Package. They called my cell phone number for some reason. Pretty sure I am on the DO NOT CALL registry so they just aren't paying attention to that. It was a pre-recorded message.

I had talk radio playing, so I pressed "1" and got the "leave a message." I made sure the phone picked up the radio show for several minutes until the call clicked off.

They want to give me money! HA!

They are foreign criminals - the only way to stop them is for governments to help one another put these criminals in jail, or for the phone companies to block their phone service - the latter is the easiest quickest solution.

I just got a call from these scammers.  They just keep calling, even though I press 2 to be removed from the call list.  This is a total joke and something needs to be done to shut these idiots and scum down.  I'm tired of being bothered in my home with these harassing calls.  I own a business which I operate from my home and because I pay for a "business line," I am not able to put my number on the do not call list.  It's only for residential customers.  I've contacted my senators, indicating that business lines should not be excluded from the DNC list.  Guess what I got from them?  Absolutely more bullsh*t from their assistants, saying that they can't include business phone numbers on the do not call list because businesses may get calls that they actually want to receive for products or info for their business.  What kind of crap is that?  If I don't want calls, I don't want calls and that should be my choice, regardless if I'm a business phone customer or not.  They are more interested in protecting their endorsers and big money donors, which in my state of Georgia are usually big business.  I will certainly remember all this at election time.  These politicians need to be run out of town on a rail.  They're certainly not looking out for average citizens like me.

I called back to ask these folks to stop calling, I got a recording that said the number is temporarily not in service!  I just received the call a few moments earlier.  This is a business line and I don't have time to listen to pre-recorded messages.  I thought they were outlawing these calls.

These (or this) idiot called our business this morning with an illegal pre-recorded message.  (FCC mandates what information must be providedd in pre-recorded messages and this particular message violated those requirements on multiple points... like not identifying the company who was calling, not providing a valid phone number, etc.)  Caller ID showed "Stimulus Help."  Obviously, yet another scam spammer.  As with others, pressing 1 to talk to someone resulted in another pre-recorded message about all their operators being busy (Yeah, right!  And you have a bridge to sell me too, right?) and to leave a call-back number.  I left them a message that I would be reporting their illegal call to the FCC (as if THAT would result in any action.)  I keep forgetting to leave the FCC's phone number instead.  Calling back the number that showed up on the caller ID (207-208-8634) gave me a generic message that said that if I wished to be placed on their Do-Not-Call list (whoever "they" might be) to press 1 now, which obviously means they have a caller ID system in place, which likely means our company will get even more spam calls from these idiots.

I just got this call...hung right up. I've been told that the Do Not Call list doesn't apply to business numbers. Is this true?
