Same thing happened to me and they called my cell phone instead of the house.

also a missed call from this number.  very early in the morning.

I just gave the title of my car to my parents last week since I moved to a city and don't need a car. Got a call from this number but didn't pick up. Most people on here are saying they don't have a car. I wonder if that's the relating point.

This number is one of these (from 800Notes' article "16 Ways You Can be Phone Scammed"):

"One of the ?hottest? scams in the telemarketing industry these days involves companies that sell Auto-Warranties. It?s usually a robo-call. The recording starts with: ?This is your final notice! Got a call from this number on my cell phone just after 6am here in Portland, Oregon (where it's 3 hours earlier than it is in Portland, ME). It woke me up nearly 2 hours before I had to be up this morning, so I'm pretty tee'd off.
Glad I didn't get to the phone in time to answer, anyway. No message left, thank goodness.

This call came into our business line so I have to answer.  I was informed "This is your final notice ........."  I have rec'd 15 "final notices" in the last week.

I got a call from that number. I didn't answer it because I never answer a call from a number I don't recognise. They left a voicemail, but it was just static.

Just called me and I tried calling back.  Got on their do not call list and tried other numbers, but it hung up on me.

Got a call from this number at 2:31 p.m. - no message left.

Great i picked it up and said hello. But it was already dead. Guess I need to go back to answering only calls i have in my phone. the rest can leave a message and i might call back.  :)

For heaven's sake, people! If you get a call with a name/number you don't recognize, don't pick up the call. And don't press any buttons. To confirm what was said already, if you push a button, you will be put on the "chump list", and telemarketers will flock to your number. Those are the facts.

The blind led by the dumb. All you did was confirm your number to scammers so it will be on more sucker lists and you will get more junk phone calls.

I just want to answer them and then ask which car needed the warranty because I have so many. Just to mess with them or say I don't have a car all I have is a bike. They'll probably hang up on me but it'll least scare them from thinking twice to call lol Fricking scammers

This is exactly the same thing I am getting!  And in addition my phone is registered on the DNC list - Can't something be done about these vultures?

I have gotten several notices in the mail most likely from these people and now a phone call on my cell phone - WTH?? I haven't owned this car in over 7 yrs - and I would like to know HOW they got my new address?? I've lived in 4 different locations since I've had that car.....These people need to stop harrassing people!!!!

I got a call from this number but did not answer as I don't recognized the number.  I did call the number back an got a voicemail stating if I wish to stop calls from this number to press 1.

They just called my 17 year old son and he doesn't even have a driver's license let alone a car

Just got a call from this # bv didnt answer since I didnt recognize it. The call went to voicemail but the only thing recorded was static.

Received a call on my cell phone, which left a message of recorded static. Accidentally called back, and got a recording to press 1 if I wanted to be placed on the do not call list.
