I have had numerous calls (10+) over the past few months. Everytime I select to be removed. This last time i pushed all I needed to , to get to a live person. He answered "chris" with Google plus.  The second I asked "what does it take to be removed" he hung up on me. What fun.

When they called I didn't hear anything.  I called the number back and it says "Google Plus Local".  They're supposedly trying to sell Google website listings and/or actual websites for businesses.
To supposedly be removed from the list I had to:
- press 2 to be removed from the list
- then it asked another question and asks to choose 1 or 2
- and then it asks another question to choose 1 or 2
- and then it asks if you're the business ower press 1, if not press 2 to be removed from the list.

That's 5 minutes of my life I will never get back.

They are just looking to scam business owners out of money by getting them to PAY for a Google service that is FREE if you do it yourself.  Just a bunch of useless telemarketing baboons dialing for dollars.

It's fast and it's easy.  After 31 days on the list, you can enter complaints about numbers like this calling you.

It seems to me that the number on this submission (207-430-3820) is used by a multi purpose scam company.  ANY company that calls you via automatic dialer systems, and doesn't represent what company they are calling from (or fraudulently represents themselves) are indeed breaking the law.  If you are on the National Do Not Call list in addition, you can help track them and shut them down.

I have verified that Google is NOT responsible for this number and these robo calls.  The number is representing themselves as Google Plus local representatives, but the number is based in Augusta ME, and that matches the local area code.  So, do not blame Google for this one.  It's some other scammers calling your phone.

Get on that No Call list, then report these jerks!

Report this number to the DoNotCall website. If enough complaints are registered, the source will be investigated and hopefully shut-down.

I have received calls from 207-430-3820 over the last 3 or 4 months.  Over the last two months, I have used the automated system to request to be removed on 3 separate occasions and spoke to a representative on 2 separate occasions to follow-up as I still got calls after using the computer request.
Today, I got the call at 10AM, I opted out for the representative that refused to give his or remove me from the list before he hung up on me.  I called back only to get hung up on again and then my second call I got Chris Jay and asked again to be removed.  
This company needs to be shut down.  Their computer systems for removal are not working, personal requests to be removed are ignored and I the business owner am negatively impacted by the abuse I am subjected to by these telemarketers.
Please advise when action is taken against this firm.

This is a long running criminal scam to get your personal information. They keep changing the number they call from so that you do not find reviews like this one.  Part of  the sales pitch is that my business cannot be found on line. Then why does my web site get 200 hits a day?

Called and hung up when they got my answering system. Blocked.

Rang unlisted wireline. It was "Jennifer" calling from "Google Plus." Since I made the mistake to answer, I pressed 1 to speak to an agent. But, wait there is more. Jennifer made another pitch to make sure my business was seen in Google search and then said "IF this is not a business, press 9." And so I did and was disconnected.
Reading this bulletin board it appears that either the same company pushes a number of scams, or the same phone company hires out the same number to different companies. Still, all scams.

I got a call on my business cell, and it was a robo call that started with something about google...I immediately hung up. They call from many different numbers.

Have gotten this call NUMEROUS times with recording saying it is GOOGLE calling and have press required numbers to "BE REMOVED" - but continue to get repeated calls.  Followed all prompts this last time, in an effort to seek to someone - call was not connect to a live person.  Calls back to this number just give you the same recording again.

I also received a message from Google Plus regarding my business account, which is a joke, I don't have, and never had a business or a Google plus account of any kind.  Calling from Maine about a "local" acct. in Calif.  Give us a break already.

I called back and it says something about a google+ business membership. There is an option to be removed from the calling list. I tried it so hopefully I wont get anymore calls.

Received a call from this number and a lady said "hello" 3 times and then hung up.  I called back and  got the recording regarding security systems and then pressed "9" to be placed on their no call list.  Hopefully it works!
