Got a call from this number at my workplace; it was a robocall concerning credit cards or something (I didn't listen to the whole message).  Reported it to the FTC.

Got a call today. The caller ID says Med Serv. Nobody there, dead air. Probably a scam but I figure if I don't asnwer they will just call 100 times a day until I do answer. So freaking annoying.

I have received multiple calls and they do not leave messages.  Please block this call or report as spam.

I selected to be taken off yesterday. they said allow 24 hours, well its been 25 and they called me again!!!!

I put my cell phone number on the Do Not Call Registry after receiving multiple calls from these numbers: 1-207,433-5412, 1-320-534-4307,1-619-582-3399,1-631-758-9845,1-812-962-4102,1-954-681-2940. And after putting my number on the DNC list, I continue to receive calls from the 1-207-433-5412 and 1-954-681-2940 numbers. I have it set in my phone for the calls to go straight to my vm. But some how, some of their calls still went through, I looked in my network for my Android phone for a application that will stop these ppl from calling me. It's called Hinky and so far it has worked. I'll get a notification of ! with the number and a message that the call was blocked. I haven't spoken to a live person but my boyfriend had a similar problem with scam artists calling his cell and the woman rudely replied well don't answer the call and proceeded to hang up. I encourage all to either contact your phone company to block their calls for land line phones, or if you have a smart phone, Blackberry, iPhone, etc. see if there is a application to block unwanted callers. Hope this is helpful to you guys.

I got a call from this company too. I dialed it back and it says immediately, if you would like to be placed on our do not call list, what I want to know is how the F they got my cell number in the first place. but I pressed 1 to have them remove me within 24hours as they noted. and hopefully they will stop calling.

Called number suggested by Nicole.  Phone rang 32 times and no one answered.  Yet another scam I am wondering..... Who do you work for Nicole??!!

They seem to be busy today.  I reported the number to the National Consumers League, the Federal Trade Commission, My State's Attorney General, and the BBB.  I will contact the SAG for BE Maine also.  Any other suggestion??  I have the time and resources to pursue this and am adamant about "nailing" these callers

Call came in, answer because waiting for call back from NBLA about my supposed med. ins. (this is a whole different scam but beware of National Better Living Association) got recording about obtaining med. ins.!!!  When prompted to press 1 to speak to a rep. call was disconnected.  Called back on same number only to receive a message about pressing 1 to stop the calls.  Interesting to note that they automatically assume that a person is calling back to stop the calls.  No option to speak to a rep about the product offered.  Very SUSPICIOUS>

Constantly getting calls from -1-207-433-5412 and caller id has it as Bangor, ME. I did get the prerecorded message about health insurance and did press 1 to talk with someone. I asked the name of the company and "Adam" told me it was American Health Insurance company. Don't know how accurate that is. I told him I was on the DNC list and he said for me to give him my number to put on his do not call list. I explained that it works the other way. They are supposed to check the national DNC list and not call me. I will file a report right away.

Yes, its illegal.  But the callers are hard to catch.  Many are working from foreign countries that do not cooperate with US law enforcement.  The FTC has a limited number of staffers to enforce the law, so they only go after the worst offenders.  Other law enforcement agencies are too busy looking for murders and drug dealers to worry about phone scammers.

I'm on the do-not-call list. Why is this company calling me? Isn't this against the law?

Don't ever press anything.  By pressing #1 you've told them they reached a human being and not a machine.  

Hang up on them.  If the same number keeps calling your cell phone assign it "no ring" as the ring tone so the call won't disturb you.

I have been receiving these annoying calls for a month/ each time I press #1 to be taken off the list, another number comes up on my cell phone's caller ID within a few days.

recorded message about health care EARLY morning calls before 8am. 3 times now. No one to tell STOP CALLING ME>

These calls are going to my cell phone. I won't accept calls from numbers I don't recognize. If there is no message on my voice mail, I know it's telemarketers. Then I add the number that called me to my Contact List, name the contact "Do Not Answer, or DNA." Then I set the ringtone for "No Ring." That way I don't hear the constant ringing of the cell. You should see how many DNA calls are in my Contact List!

I've been called numerous times just today and I cannot get them to stop! In the past they have called about credit card bailout, mortgage relief, home loans and "no health insurance". It's ALWAYS a recording.

This tele-seller drives me nts with their unwanted "recordings". It's been everything from credit-card bailout to home loans and lately....medical.  I've tried callin back as well and have had no luck.

Rec call from the number and hung up. Called back and pressed one to be put on their dnc list. I thought they were not supposed to call cell phones?

This call came in on my cell phone.  I rarely give out my cell phone number.  Looks like they have a demon dialer that dials all possible numbers in an area code.  I get similar calls to my land line, which is registered in the do-not-call database.  These creeps are scofflaws.  I will not call back, as that would just confirm to them that my phone number is real, and they can sell it.  I suspect this is a way of collecting phone numbers to sell and has nothing to do with loan modification.

Use caller ID and Voice Mail.  Never Respond.  They will likely never leave a message. If you answer accidentally, act surprised and ask them how they got the number to the pay phone outside your prison cell.

Getting so tired of these random calls. Nobody ever says a word ~~This crap has to stop
