received call, did not answer, no message left.

I had a misssed call from 44-207-4593791. no msg left. time was 5:41 pm Eastern time.

Got similar call on my cell phone, Caller ID number was +442074593791.  I got a woman with a spanish accent calling regarding lowering my credit card rates.  When I pressed her for information as to which of my credit cards or banks they were calling from, she went on with the pitch about saving interest on my credit cards.  

I cut her off, and asked for a supervisor.  He identified himself as "Renzo", in his words "Like Lorenzo but just Renzo".  I let him know I was on the do not call list and that I would report the call to the FCC.  He backpedaled and said he would put me on his "personal" do not call list.  He also mentioned something about being a non-profit, and that they're only trying to help people.  

Most likely, they're trying to help themselves to someone's credit cards.

Got a call today (March 4, 2008) on my cell phone at 11:13 a.m. EST. It was a "robocall" from "Account Services" about lowering my credit card interest rates. I have received this call on my home phone (land line), but never before on a cell phone. I called my provider (T-Mobile), but all they did was give me the number for the Do Not Call registry, on which I was already registered. I filed my complaint at www.donotcall.gov and I hope they can put a stop to this. I don't know what the +44 means, but 207 is the area code for Maine, if I'm not mistaken.

Also received call.  Didn't answer.  I can't place international calls so I'm going to call back and mess with them from work tomorrow.

Got the same call. My caller ID showed it as a Califonia # and since I have a few friends out there I assumed it was one of them, so I answered. They hung up immeditaley. That is when I noticed that the phone # had too many #'s and realized that it was an iternational call. I figured this was a scam so I called Sprint to report it...you know CYA. They said not to worry (if there are any charges they will be waived) but if I was registered on the do not call list to report it there as well.

Got the same call, but this is a first. Am reporting number and find it odd the number of enties here in the last 4 hours.

i just got this call about two seconds ago and googled promptly.
Is there anyway to get your phone provider to block numbers like that?  Or notify them of this scam?

Got a call at 5:37pm Eastern on that number (with the +44 callerid, obviously forged because it wasn't a UK company).  I've seen similar callerids on my home phone for a while and it's always the same credit card scam.  Since it was on my cell phone I decided to answer and see if I could get any info.  Was indeed the "Account Services" wanting to lower my rates on a credit card they wouldn't name.  Didn't get any useful info out of them, when I asked to get taken off their list they asked for more info (my phone number) which they should have already had since they called me.  I filed a donotcall.gov complaint.

REcieved a call at 2:35 PST, 3/4/08. Did not answer.

I Got a call from that number today at 12:37pm-with no message left.  Who is your provider?  Maybe Verizon did something odd?

Assumed it was a friend from the UK. Recorded message asking if I would be intrested in lowering the interest rate on my unnamed credit card. Prompted to press 1 to continue. I hung up.
Obviously a scam.

received call on cell. did not answer, caller left no msg. thought it odd to see +44 on the caller id.
