If you get a panasonic phone at Wall mar you can block who you want On my phone I can block up to thiorty callers they have them you can block more read the instructions before you buy it I love mine it rings once and that's it I sit here and laugh at the b*****ds Then they will give up after a while lol

March 2014 issue of Consumer Reports has a way to block scammers on page 7. Problem is your phone company has to have Nomorobo.   You can find out if your phone company has the service by going to nomorobo.com. My phone company does not offer this service.

I just rec'd a call today, 9.16.11. Thay were ready to deal an "only available today" deal to me. I told them I never do, over the phone, today only deals without checking it out. Found this site...thanks for the help.

Called trying to give me a special vacation package. Have called several times. We have notified them not to call and we are on a no call list.  These people continue to call and apparently nothing is being done as many people have listed list number associated with this same scam.

They keep calling and calling and when I answer all I hear is dead space. This has happened several times over the last few weeks. Truly annoying.

Doing the best i can to track em down and return the favor wich is make their life miserable.besides im looking for a way through the law in wich to report them to the authorities, since i am in canada the cops here dont do much, i have nothing against americans but for you idiots living in the big 'ol USA i have an idea....REPORT THEM TO YOUR LOCAL F***KING AUTHORITES AS FRAUDERS AND SCAM ARTISTS...last time i checked its a crime.

I keep getting the same calls from 207.492.2649 almost every day. I enrolled with Frontier Phone Companies call block for a fee but they tell me they can't block invalid phone numbers what a service!

Rec'd a call from 207 492 2649 four times since Aug 17/11.  Either no-one talks or travel offer.  According to post seen on the internet this is a scam call.  I am on the Canadian DNC list.

Tired of the constant barrage of daily called from this number...I am suppost to be on the so called no call list...feel harrassed by the constant calls from automated telemarketers....you can only block so many numbers....the only other recourse is to hire someone to answer and filter your calls or use peace and quiet to block out all calls....:-(

I have been getting calls from this number daily, these people are very rude and unprofessional! I have asked more than once to be taken off of their calling list and usually get hung up on. Today I asked the girl what I needed to do to stop getting calls and she said to buy a package! I could not believe it! I asked to speak to a supervisor and after asking repeatedly asking she put one on the phone. The supervisor was just as unprofessional and proceeded to say that that was not what she had said. I finally just said take me off and hung up! I'm really sick of these people! How can I get off of their calling list!!!!!

Saturday morn. call with no one on the other end.

I`ve receive phone calls from this number 207-492-2649 several times a day over the past three weeks but I have not been home and there is no message being left on my machine. I`ve tried calling the number but have not been able to reach a live person only automated machines where I am unable to understand the outgoing message.

I would like this to stop immediately I am on a do not call list...

These people are so annoying. I'm up in Alberta, registered with the National Do Not Call list for not only my landline but my 4 cell phones on our family plan. They don't call the landline or 3 of the cell numbers - just MY number. The same phone number gives me calls for the 'winning vacation' as well as 'my last chance to reduce my interest rate on your approved credit card'  I asked them which card company and they asked me which one I had - told them it doesn't work that way, you tell me which one and I'll tell you if I have it. They hung up on me  *sobs*

As toold said 'If you don't recognize the caller, don't answer.' It all falls into the 'sounds too good to be true' category. Keep yourselves and your families safe.  :)

I got a call from this number. He said that you got a great vacation something,,,,, I told him you could not call me. He said I am sorry sir.

They are not in Maine.  They are overseas.  Many of these scammers have ways of showing a nonexistent phone number.  You can't call that number.  Even though it is a nonexistent number, since your phone recognizes the number, you may still be able to put it on your blocked numbers list.  These are bad people.

Simple rule.  If you don't recognize the caller, don't answer.

received a lengthy voicemail with no message for me. My caller was eating potato chips. I could hear another caller calling someone named Kirby. This woman was actually leaving a coherant message. Like everyone else, they never ID themselves.

Just added it to my caller block on my phone.

Got a call from this number at 10am I've been receiving spam calls from a 401 area code so I decided to look it up on google, and I ended up here. I didn't even bother calling it back.

I live in Georgia and changed my phone number four days ago.  They just contacted me.  Registered the number from "Caribou, Maine."  Silence on the other end.  Glad to see I'm not the only one!

I g=just got called, figured it might be an old friend.  Anyway lots of background noise.....  maybe Peggy did not do so well in retraining class.
