I get calls from this number on my cell every couple of weeks. Apparently they want to sell me an alarm system. This number shows on my phone as originating in Caribou, Maine.

I just placed a couple ads on craigs list and I rec'd this a call from this number. The caller didn't leave a message on my answering machine. If you have ads on craigslist the wierdos will call you. I ive in Florida and this number was from carribou maine.

2nd time this number called me (both times I didn't answer.)  what is wrong with these idiots!!  (if a calling number isn't local to me or a number which has an 'odd' area code (with which I have had no previous contact initiated by me....I don't answer it.)

I answered, pressed one to speak with someone live.  Person answered and asked if I wasnted the free debt elimination information.  I asked what the name of the company was and they hung up.

I received a call at 11:34am. I answered but no one said anything. I said hello about 4 times then I hung up.

Just got a call.  Didn't answer.  I have completed the DO NOT CALL LIST multiple times!  they didn't leave a message.

They are still at it. It is June 25. So, the scam calls continue. Called back and got a busy signal.

this number keeps appearing on my cell phone   and when i call it back all i get is a busy signal! really tired of ignorant people trying to scam us desent people!

I recieve calls from this number on my cell phone.  When I answer, there is no one there.  When I try to call back, the line is busy.  This is getting annoying.  I already placed my number on DO NOT CALL, but yet I still get these calls.  Annoying.

Same here 1:43 PM EDT - hello?  Click.  3rd time, and plus I am on the "Do Not Call" list.  I have reported this number for the second time to the registry.

They called me on my mobile at 1:29 PM EST on June 24th.  Nobody was there to answer the call.

In earlier messages on this site, I see that people were called by people claiming to have information regarding security systems.  I have received those security messages as well.

I did not answer the call and when i tried calling back all i got was "Beep, beep, beep, beep" but based on everyone else's posts, i'm glad i didn't pick up.

This was a call from an automated system threatening to remove our listing from Google if we did not talk to their operator. They did not have an operator on the line when the call was answered, which is illegal. Once I did get to an operator, he hung up when I asked his company name.

It's always recorded, always starts off with "This is an important call from..." and that's when I hang up, swearing into the phone. I've learned from the school of experience, if it is advertised on cable television or an unsolicited phone call, it is fraudulent!

I've received a call this number as well and it plays a pre-recorded message telling me that they have found a way to give me a new Home Security System for free.

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone it was a recorded message saying I won a home security system. They immediately hung up when I pressed 1 to speak to someone. I have gotten this same call from 10 different numbers over they past few weeks. If I get a live person on the phone I blast them with an AIRHORN. I use to get these calls daily it's down to once a week now usually on Fridays.

got a call from these jerkoffs....I dont give out my number and I screen all of my calls. This is the 2nd time this week I am getting calls that I dont recognize. The first was 406-219-2070...wonder if they are related.

They are calling me since yesterday I'm going to report to the Feds.
