STOP CALLING. I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST

These people called my elderly parents house looking for me. I'm sure it was a telemarketer but they have no right to be calling my parents house. They are close to 90 years old and don't need to be bothered.

just got call for this number with a woman voice. addressed me by name, said she wanted to me to take a short survey.  when i asked where she was called from she said Flor..RE..Da with an heavy accent I believe to be east indian. i asked to be connected to someone who spoke english and she said perhaps it would be better to call back again. I hope not i hate racing to the phone only to find out it is a joke

Got a call from this number today. Caller sounded to be a female with foreign accent. Said she was performing a survey on the phone service. Asked if number she was calling was a company phone number and if so, what kind of company. I asked the caller why they needed to know what type of company and the caller said they were trying to determine what type of companies are using the phone service. The caller then asked how many employees worked for company. At this point I became suspicious of the call and made up a number. The caller then asked what my name was and I provided a made up name.

foreign speaking woman, claims to be from a LifeAlert company. could not even understand her. asked not to be called again, although this number has been showing up on my caller ID for weeks with no message on my machine, so I am sure it is a scam. Next time I will ask to speak to a rep in the USA and then hopefully I can get myself removed from their list. In the meantime, I am registering a complaint with DONOTCALL.gov as well since my number is on their list.

Male voice who said his name was Harry.  Said he was with American Medical Delivery.  Said he had my diabetes meds to deliver.  I asked him to repeat his name and company and phone number.  He quickly read off a local (not area code 207) phone number and then disconnected the call.
This guy was up to some sort of scam.  American Medical Delivery is apparently a "medical" marijuana dispensary in California. Who knows what he was up to.

This company calls EVERYDAY and I have asked them to stop calling and to remove my name and number. Stupid people from where ever they are (Not America) are so flippen rude and will not stop calling. They keep saying they are from "America Medical"
WHY MUST WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL THESE PHONE CALLS FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES? OBVIOUSLY AMERICAN COMPANIES ARE HIRING THEM TO MAKE THESE PHONE CALLS. WISH I COULD FIND THESE PEOPLE. KHARMA IS A BI***

I have received at least 10 phone calls from these people. They wanted to sell me a motorized wheelchair. They asked for my DOB, which I promptly gave them my deceased mother-in-law's birthday, and asked me what medical carrier I had, which I promptly answered "medicare and medicaid" (lies) to make them breathe harder. Long story short, I have misguided them in hopes of trapping them. Try it, you'll like it and look forward to another call.

They said that I won a free vacation to can cun I don't want to see this spam on my route again Ps. Please remove them from my listing thanks xoxo Erin

Sounds like some type of scam searching for personal information on the elderly. They use diabetes and any other medical condition to solicit this information. Mislead them as they try to mislead you giving no personal information what-so-ever. Nothing!!!

I got a call from Friendly message today.  What the hell is that?  207-493-2698.  someone needs to stop these annoying calls from happening.

These people called some family members house asking for a version of my name. Bad connection. Foreigner, very difficult to understand. Told the family member that they had a medical delivery for me. I am not expecting a medical delivery of any kind. Told the family to tell them to take that number off their list and not to call again.

Yep, I got the same type of call everyone else has. Fast busy when you try to call the number back. However, I did a little more research. I went to the INTELIUS web site and found the country of origin was AROOSTOCK. Now if you have never heard of this country you aren't alone because there is no such country. However, there is an Aroostook Valley Country Club in Fort Fairfield, Maine 04742. Not sure what all that means, but it is a landline number. I think if we keep trying to track these crooks down we may finally find them. We just have to try and get them to give us a little piece of their info.
Given we now have number portability, and these callers have an accent, it is possible they are dialing thru some phone device outside he U.S. and simply connecting thru a local US number. I guess it is as much fun trying to track them down as they are having trying to steal my info!!!

I got a call from this number and did not answer. No message was left. This is the first time receiving a call from this number.

Got a call today.  Said I had requested information concerning improving my education.  When I said I had not, the lady immediately hung up.  Scam.

Keep calling at least twice a day with no voicemail. Once in the morning at 9AM and afternoon around 1PM.  When I called back, it rang two times and disconnected/hung up.

They are claiming to be American Diabetic.  I have asked to be removed from call list and they hang up on me.  I am getting 4 to 5 calls a week and am fed up with them.

Its a telemarketer, calls me everyday twice for the last month, down loaded an app call Mr. Number for my cell phone and the program hangs up on them its great and FREE.

Got a call from this number and since I didn't recognize the number, I didn't answer.  They left no message. I figure they must not want to talk to me since they didn't leave a message!  Now that I see how many other people have gotten similar calls, I'll add them to my Verizon blocked call list. Thanks to everyone who posted.

Call from this number answered by my 12 year old daughter.  Man on the line was beligerant and nasty to her telling her that her mother had diabetes and she had to get her to call back immediately.  my daughter didn't know what to do.  she hung up and called me in tears.  these people arre the lowest form of slime and filth on the planet and need to be imprisoned.

These are people who get all your personal data (internet search and browsing activity) from your internet service provider.Your ISP sells all of your browsing habits (they record all activity on your internet access account) and sell that information (including your phone number and SSN if they have it) to anyone and everyone. They also harvest your email content and sell that to companies trying to sell you garbage you don't want. Also, credit collection agencies buy the information and use it to phone harass people's friends, relatives, etc.,,,.

These companies know they can get away with it because they know the federal governent is notorious for not enforcing the law - unless you are rich or fall into some kind of 'protected minority status'.

Essentially, if you are not rich, you will not get any law enforced.

Been getting these calls several times daily like others & garbled voice recording when I call them back.  They suggest "press 1" to be removed from their call list, but I don't press anything after the scams I've read about recently involving callers asking folks to press "9" or "1" as a way to open international lines for long-distance calls that would be reverse charged to us.  If anyone figures out how to stop these calls, please post ASAP.

This phone number has been calling us regularly for about 6 months.  There is never anyone there and they call very early PDT - 6:13 a.m. this morning!  Today I heard a faint voice say Goodbye with a Middle Eastern Accent.   I'm on the DONOTCALL registry.  I've paid $10 to have the number blocked for 90 days.  This is intolerable.

I received my first call from this number this afternoon at 4:39 p.m. cdt, it sounded like a cell phone that was out of range, after saying my name twice, I then said "hello" I could hear muffled voices (like a call center background noise) and then a strange click, No voice contact.
I can not help but think this new friend is from two purchased I made on the web this weekend: Harley-Davidson gift certificate & American Outfitter's gift certificate earlier today.
It is so annonying, this coupled with "Rachal" and her credit card message and the Diabetice Marketing Group, it is not funny.
My son-in-law owns an Insurance business and flat refuses to sell his client base for mailing an calling and this is turning down a nice sum of money, hats off to him, wish more people respected our priviacy.

Recd call 4.21 pm jul 29 2011 "Friendly Message" was CID name.I do not answer unknown names.   Interesting that they seem to have confidential medical information available to them.

I am getting that too and I am on the do not call list. She spoke one time, but hung up after I said hello again. I decided to start looking up some of the numbers that keep calling to see if there is any information on them.

The lady sounds filipino or indian accent,maybe fake. She tried to get information to do a fraud scam. Very annoying. Be careful. Just hang up!

Do not give this lady any information. This is a scam. She will do whatever she can to get personal information to do a scam.

We got a call from this number. After reading all the comments, it looks like they are trying to find out if anybody is home. Repeated calls with no answer, could be the beginning of who knows what.

This person soudned like she was Indian or Pakistani.  I had a hard time understanding her. She said it was about my diabetes. No one in this house is diabetic.   I told her off and hung up.
