When I get a call like this, I just save the number as" DONOTPICK". So I simply will not pick when they call.

the most possible some yankee s**t...
they will ask you press 1 to stop them to calling you... that would be the biggest mistake... if you press one, you don't know what it will result... might be your  pressing result to charge your credit card..

all my opinion just what i gave above...
where's the freedom? they can call me and i could not get info from my provider phone company  who are these callers... why?

I have called repeatedly from this number every day and I'm really tired and wanted to know who it is.

same thing happened to me and i asked them how did they know what area i lived in? and i got hung up on. Its funny because my area code on my cell is NOT where i live. That and I live on a military base...Cant they just stop this crap im so tired of it.

I received the same call and took care of it this way

1) Set main ringer for all calls to a silent ringer
2) set up everyone in my contacts directory to have a certain ringer that will notify me that its a call i want

or you can setup numbers that you dont like calling and bugging you this way

1) make a new contact called Scam Call Don't Answer
2) enter the number you dont want bothering you anymore
3) Set up the ringer for the annoying number to be silent (Search the net for a silent ringtone and upload it to your cell)

Now when that or any other number in your contact list that annoys tries calling you up you wont hear the cell phone ring and they will be sent to voicemail.  Finally silence and peace.

Only way that you will know if the silenced annoying caller tried calling you is the missed call icon you see.

I've gotten several calls from this number in the last two days...Finally did a reverse look-up...It's a landline registered to a guy I don't know...I will be sharing your information and mine with local law enforcement.  Hopefully this oxygen thief will stop the annoying phone calls!!!!

im in kansas got a call today from 207-512-2294.  i didnt answer.  i wish tmobile had call block!

VERY ANNOYING, work nights & MUST due to job keep phone by bed for EMERGENCY CALLOUT, then have telemarketer robo call wake me up after two hours of sleep after working 14 hour shift

Yes, received this call yesterday @5:00 P.M. I did not call it back; because, it was not caller I.D. ed by my cell and did not recognize the area code. Glad I Googled it prior to calling.

Sorry "Private Eye", but you have no idea what you are talking about.  Or your work for whatever company this is trying to make them sound legit.

I have all my bills paid, never took a loan, and never carried any balance on my one and only credit card.  There is absolutely no reason for a debt collector to be trying to reach me.

Scam company offering free alarm system.  I'm supposed to believe they spend all this money with a robocall system, and will spend all the money of installing and monitoring my home alarm out of the goodness of their hearts?

Called my phone at work.  A recording said they were selling home security packages.

this number keeps calling my cell but never leaves a message. If i don't know who it is I don't answer. If they refuse to leave me a message then they don't want me that bad. Same thing with my land line. I think the Privite Eye is correct and I thank him for the info. My Ex has alot of debt and now they are trying to track him down through me.  Stinks!!

Just got a call from this phone number and I didn't answer it.  No messages left.

same thing here i called the fbi in Detroit and they say its a scamm

It was a recording stating "The FBI has reported home break-ins in your area.  Next week they will be in your area installing FREE house alarms and alert systems.  To get your FREE system call blah blah...."

Nothing is FREE - beware - just hang up.

Receiving calls from this number on a cell phone that is listed on the National "do-not-call" list!

Just got a call on my cell - selling home security in "my area". Automated voice asks you to press 1. Will do next time to have take my number off their list.

Got the call a few hours ago - did not answer. Figured it was one of these scams.

Got a call from #207-512-2294 today 8/10/10 @3:36pm.  When I picked up it was a recording for Home Security Network.  The recording started off with mentioning some home break in statistic from the FBI.  I listened to the recording in full and then it said to press 1 to find out more.  I did and was connected to an operator.  When I told her this was a cell phone # and I wanted it removed from their call list I was hung up on.  I tried calling back the same # only to get a recording saying if you want to be on their do not call list press 1.  IF YOU GET A CALL FROM THIS # PLEASE FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

I was called on my smartphone no message left when I returned the call there was an answering machine asking if wanted to be on thier don not call list.  But did not identify the company.

Annoyed!! This is why I don't have a landline and now they call cell phones. They shouldn't be able to do this and we need to stop them!

Got called - called back. First thing the message says is if you want to be on the do not call list, press 1. Did that. Message then says it may take 24 hours to remove your #. Seems odd that it's the first thing they talk about is getting off their list....
