CALLED TODAY ANSWERED GOT SILENCE. CHECKED THE NUMBER ONLINE AND SAW THIS SITE. WONT ANSWER IF THEY CALL AGAIN

might sound good, but I'd rather be safe then sorry.
unless you know for a fact who it is, dont give out info.
in fact I wouldnt give it out at all on the phone.
in todays world with new scams happening all the time,
giving out your info is scary anywhere

Got a call from this number last night, said they were raising money to support families financially drained by medical bills from breast cancer. ID Just showed the city name, no business name. No foundation or organization name was mentioned.

They just called my home phone at 8:34AM.
A woman asked for my Husband by name and when I asked who it was, it switched right over to an automated message that said..."this message is for the both of you...bla bla bla and went on about the Breast cancer of Maine.
Caller ID showed "Breast cancer se" I think the word services was in their somewhere in the auto message. (still having my coffee) I only answered because I wanted to REMIND THEM IT WAS 8:30AM and I thought it was illegal for them to call before 9AM. I then made the mistake of calling the number back which is a big no no. All I got was a long message and a machine BTW. They just had a bit on the local news about these robo calls and how if you call the number back you could get billed HUGE. So, I hope I don't have a $500 charge appear on my phone bill or some SH*T. I am SO pissed right now.
Just remember...DONT ANSWER AND DONT CALL BACK...EVER! No matter how bad you may want to rip em a new one!
If anyone has more info on these people/scammers please post. Are they legit? Guess I'll know when I get the phone bill :-(
