Called me and left no message....  I called the number and it states they are North America Marketing.

They wont stop calling and i just stopped answering the phone .. when i did answer they would just hang up!

I also heard Omega Financial Group supposedly they are supposed to be out of the office till wed jan 3 and its jan 2 and I had 2 calls today

Call the number back and press "0".  I just did and it gets you to the receptionist, and they will remove your name and number.

called and spoke to receptionist, who claimed she was entering me on the DNC list. blocking on my side just in case.

I am continuously receiving calls from this number 207-591-6689 on my cell phone.
Can it be blocked?

Caller Id said Karis Holdings--no message left

Did not answer call.  They left no message.

I've seen this number in my call log a couple times the last two days, and just received another.  This time I answered and no one was there.  At least now I know I don't need to answer it anymore.

This a telemarketing operation principally for health insurance.  The receptionist answers Omega Financial Services.  Their website shows they deal in financial services.  I believe they are located in Portland, ME>

They called me and said I had sent them an email saying that I was looking for health insurance.  I did not send anyone an email regarding health insurance.  They had my full name and address info.  They called me on my cell phone number.

There is a disclaimer on their message that states it takes up to 25 Days to be removed! That is BS.  They can remove it within a day or two.

you guys are suckers. this corrupt call center has gone under and any poor soul who enrolled in any one of their semi fraudulent programs is at risk of having their personal info exploited by the numerous felons the outfit employed. You were called because you are a lead. The best way to get calls to stop is to CHANGE YOUR NUMBER AND DON'T LEAVE IT AS A CALLBACK NUMBER WHEN YOU INQUIRE FOR ASSISTANCE OR APPLY FOR WHATEVER. Calls several times a day. When we answer they hang up,got to be computerized. I notified the Ms. Public Service Commission to report calls from a telemarketer (i'm on the no call registry). Got a letter back today that stated that207-591-6689 was the number for North America Research and since it was'nt a telemarketer company. it wasn't covered by the no call list!!! I think i have been hoodwinked!

phone call from 1-207-591-6689 several times a day, everyday of the week for the last 2 weeks.  When I pick up they hang up.  When I try to call them back it rings twice and then I am hung up on.  I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY therefore this needs to stop.  I was able to get through ONCE on their phone line and it said North American Marketing, and if you wish to get off their phone list to push a certain number BUT that it would take up to 25 days to remove me from the list!!  This is completely unacceptable.

Call 1-207-856-1949, that's the Company that has North American Marketing as a client. (Coversent Communications, 10 Ash St. Westbrook, Maine 04092-3401). File a complaint with them and let them know YOU WILL HOLD THEM responsible for any problems resulting in these calls; AND, that you are willing to sue! Thay don't want any lawsuits or lost revenue. You might have to also send a regisdtered letter.

They have been calling me more and more frequently over the past week until today this Karis Holdings was calling every hour!!! I finally answered and immediately said "Please quit calling me!" A live voice answered back "Okay."  We'll see. By the way, I, too, requested insurance quotes online as did another poster.

They call several times a day.  When I answer there is no one there so it is a computerized call.  I don't wait for anyone to answer.  The best way to stop computer calls is to click on and then immediately click off every time they call.  A person has to quickly get on the line if the computer indicates an answer which it will because you answered but it doesn't tell when the line is dead.  This wastes their time and it stops really fast.

Must be calling numbers at random because they have called my fax line.  If you call back and reach the receptionist, she answers Omega Financial Services.  The caller ID shows Karis Holdings.  My information is that the number is located in Portland, ME.  Omega has a website and claims to be a financial services company selling whatever financial service you will buy including insurance, debt reduction etc.

You wouldn't think that not answering a phone would be such a big deal, but these people have called at the most inoportune times... I dig call them back today...1-18-08, at 11:43am, a female voice answered, identified something...I couldn't understand...and asked if she could help me...I started to say something and she immediately said please hold.  These b*****ds call every day, and judging by the hangups, and the number and local of people that have made it here...Im thinking its a computer call.....I just called again...she answered, I yelled "Do not put me on hold, take me off your list."  She said "your telephone number area code first?"....I told her, she said "48 hours sir, take care"...and hung up.....  Hmmmm, imagine that...

No luck. I still get 4-6 calls per day from this number and cannot locate a web address or email address to notify them in writing to desist.

In the past 2 weeks, 207-591-6689 has been calling, and immediately hanging up at least 3 times per day.  I began documenting the dates and times of these harassments, and called the number today.  A message stating "North America Marketing" gave me an option to "remove your phone number from the calling list."  I pressed the number to remove myself from the call list, and received a message stating, "The voice-mailbox you are trying to reach is full.

I don't answer. I've had about 50 calls in the past 3 weeks or so. It needs to stop!

This is apparently a marketing company that does calls for multiple businesses.

I filled out an online request for a health insurance quote and have received multiple calls daily. Since the quote was for my husband, the caller asks for him. When I say this isn't his number, they would hang up before I could ask them to remove my name. When I called them back to have my name removed, their mail box was 'full'. However, April's post from July 3rd gave me good advice. I called back, went to the receptionist, and she was very nice. She removed my number right away. I'll see if it worked.... cross your fingers for me!

I have received about 8-9 calls from the 207-591-6689 number every day for about 2 weeks.  I'd pick up the phone only to hear a hang up.  I called back the number and was put on hold, I hung up.  This is very annoying.  I have my numbers on DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, and have had this for a couple of years now, but still receive calls.
