Responded to a CL post from this woman about nanny position. Sent me the same email someone copied and pasted above (with a different name). In her email she asked for a picture, address, and full name, so I immediately felt uncomfortable and didn't respond. Unfortunately, my phone number is in my email signature so she texted me and asked for me to reply to her email. I replied saying I was only available limited hours hoping she would stop there. Then I read all of this! Hopefully I don't hear from her anymore.

This just happened today. Got the check for the woman, Jessica, and took it to the bank. They caught it, luckily. I gave them the original packaging and they are turning it over to the fraud department. This is nuts. She sent me a picture of her and her kids and everything. I did wonder why she didn't make sense in her e-mails or texts or why she would never answer my questions until I pushed it and even then she never gave me a straight answer. We should start a support club group just for this lady! Hahaha totally kidding, but I feel all yucky now. I should get a kitten.

This number and this person just recently sent me over 3 gran check, for my first payment and wheelchair she hired me as a nanny and it's all scam

Every time I take a dump I snap a photo and send it their way. My friends and girlfriend have joined me in my quest for vengeance. Join us in making their phone number useless!

Ladies, did you quit with no notice ? If not, perhaps you can explain to your former employer what happened. Try calling and setting up an appointment with your HR manager. Take the police report , emails, and check with you. They may be understanding about it.

I just quit my job thinking I would start the nanny job!!! I'm seriously devastated that I'm jobless now and have no other income to support my children!!!!! Why would someone do this!!!!!! They are fake checks!!! Don't not put them in your checking accounts!! Find out where they are coming from and report check fraud!!!!

If she is sending them via the us mail then you need to give it and the envelope to your Local Post master.  It is considered mail fraud..

She wont stop sending me checks I return them but they keep sending them

Thank you for your response. I live in Portland, Maine but i am moving to your area(Tacoma) WA, on 20th of September. I will need a Nanny immediately, What hours will you be available Monday thru Friday? So that we can check if its going to be reasonable with our schedule. More importantly, My daughter is currently placed on a wheelchair due to an accident she had some months ago and my son can do whole lots of things himself. She can walk a few distance though but the specialist advised she uses the chair for a while. The rate is $550/week, they are 5 yrs old and i really need a honest and responsible care for them. This could be a temporary/permanent job. It depends on what your schedule looks like but i do like to be sure if you are available the first month and will be glad if you can continue. I am planning on getting her a powered wheelchair and have contacted a seller. I will let you know as soon as we finalize issues. I will like you to send me your complete name, address and cell phone number so i can include that to my payroll for the period. Please note that the care will be at your house or in our house,its your choice to decide where you want to watch them. I will be dropping them and picking them up when its time.

Saw ad on cl seemed to good to be true googled her nunber read this texted her saying I knew who it was and I would send the check to the cops never replyed.

Thank you so much for posting this!!! I recently responded to a similar ad on Craigslist. I got a response but it seemed kind of sketchy so I decided to google her name. Now I know not to reply back. Again thank you so much I'm glad someone took the time to warn people about her.

I ANSWERED a nanny job off craigslist.MY BAD..THE WOMAN WENT BY THE NAME SHARON JOHN OSHEA. SAID SHE HAD TWINS NEEDED A FULL TIME NANNY.tHING.we. WERE OK AT FIRST. WOW she is a real piece of work. I went to the wheelchair thing,the first weeks pay thing oh and toys. She had the check fedEx to my home. Well I took it to the bank. I talked to the bankers said I that it was a fraud. So I came home text her told her that I signed the check over to a savings account. When her and her children got here she could have her savings. Ah she was not to happy about that. She right away wanted text me that I should have put it my account. Then she text me again the very same thing, Wanted to know what bank I banked with. As if I would tell her that. LOL.. Well I also told her my brother is a sheriff and works for the fraud department. She still went through sending the check. Wow I told the truth. Now the police will take it from here
