Telus is selling people's cell phone numbers to American telescammers to extra line their profits,um, pockets. They don't care about a do not call list. You want a cell phone so bad, you pay the price of harassement from every country going. I don't have a cell phone, so no one bothers me! But Nationwide Phone Companies should screen the phone numbers they give out and do something to stop this calling people and making their life miserable. It's all about the bottom line, right?

got the spanish language recorded call on cell -- maddening!

I tried calling this number back and - At first it sounded like a fax machine picked up and then it was a recording that said "this number has been disconnected etc. etc."

JUST GOT THE CALL FROM 207-966-9898 ! THIS IS BU***HIT! I WANT TO STAB SOMEBODY! I HATE THIS LAWLESS LAND(US) THAT I CALL HOME, ITS TO CLOSE TO THAT S**T HOLE OF A COUNTRY KNOW AS MEXICO , WHOS INHABITANTS ARE DIRTY LYING SCUMBAGS! EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM SHOULD BE STEPPED ON LIKE ANTS! I HOME THEY ALL DROWN IN THE RIO GRANDE ( STINKIN WETBACKS)

Got a call from this number.  Wasn't in Spanish accent.
It was acutally a computer voice recording spoken with a British accent.  Called me here in Canada!

lol if it says to press one to get your prize, as soon as u press one it hangs up cuz its just a program that is finding out when people answer there phone.

use caller ID.  Don't answer calls from people I don't know

I didn't answer because I'm studying now. I'm in British Columbia.

Got a call from this number today, around 3, didn't pick up, it's my policy if I don't trust the number. Apparently it's a good policy ^^

This number called my brand new cell phone line and didn't leave a message when I didn't answer it.  Thanks to this thread, I won't be returning the call.

I got a missed call on my cell on Wed. Mar 18. Called the number back. Message said wrong code. Doesn't make any since.

Received a call March 20. No message. Search for number came up blank (except area code in Maine). Wastes cell minutes & is an obvious con - also is obviously an automated dialer which supposedly illegal. Hope someone can track this person down...

I just got a call, was in English.  He said I won a prize and was only for Telus customers, and to press 1 to claim my prize.  I hung up of course.

I got a call from this number, sounds like construction going on in the back ground, auto message said I just won "mil dolares" all in spanish.

I got it a couple hours ago about the "Rogers Prize", my girlfriend got one about a package and needing her address to get it. Likely a smart skip tracers. Either way, I called Rogers to b***h at them and to see what their position is and what they are doing for their customers. I hate giving customer service reps a hard time, but sometimes its the only way to get a company to do something about it

Noticed that I had received a call at 6:13 in the evening today but I did not answer the call.  There was no voice mail.  I came to Goggle to see what area code 207 was and noticed it said Maine.  Since I don't know anyone there, I then Goggled the complete telephone number and it brought me here.

I got a call from this number today no message March 25 @ 5 30 pm

Called me up @ my ABQ office. Not exactly a local number, lol.

No message was left on voice-mail.

Same Spanish speaking lady called me. I heard the mil dolares part.

Bummer I have to pay that that BS call.

It was in spanish and it said "....registered person.  You are the winner of $1000.  Press one to claim your prize."

I speak Spanish.  What a fun call to get!

This number has called me after 12 noon est, two days in a row. I don't know it and won't answer. They never leave a voice message.

Got a call, some background noise and then a recording. Tried calling back, it says"incorrect code". Who is this?

Just received a call from this number.  Noisy recorded message in Spanish.  A call back to the number resulted in the "this number is disconnected.."

I got a call from 207-966-9898 and when I call ed back 30 seconds later. it was disconnected.
