check your SOL and if it is expired tell them they are SOL!. If you do not owe money, send a cese and desist letter (but check SOL first) if you talk to them be carefull what you say or the clock starts ticking all over.

Got a call from this number, didn't recognize it ... so I didn't answer. They left an AUTOMATED message stating they were Chapman Financial and I needed to call them back regarding an "important business matter". If they can't have a live person call me ... they will never get a live person to answer my phone!

Calls me at least a couple of times a week on my cell phone. Seems its a collection agency. I have absolutely no accounts in late or collection status. This is getting annoying.

It called me couple time a week with a compyter generated message asking me to call him. Very stupid.

A computer generated woman's voice asks for a Joanie K. Bush to call her at this number and at 877-528-5077. There is no one here by that name and these "people" are using up my minutes! I am disgusted with this company and want them to stop. I have trouble with the same company calling my land line repeatedly, asking for someone (a male's name) who does not live here. This is a scam!  They are "phishing" for someone either forgetful or gullible to pay an imaginary bill.

These heartless ba*t*rds at Chapman in Cda need to be taken down. How handy to be an attorney and own a collection agency . Which is why they are able to threaten us all and sue us at a drop of a hat if we dont do EXACTLY what they say and when they say it. I was told once I had better have my payment in by Friday or " ELSE!" Couldnt be a day late. I have made every payment on time for two yrs and they wont give you a day! I said or ELSE what. "It will be a breach of your contract" What contract I didnt sign nothing the or else meant we will run out and sue you. Well needless to say they didnt get it till monday and she is lucky I didnt deliver it. I have been fighting with these people for 4 yrs they have filed a suit against us once we had to pay a 800 down and 100 month. Got paid off had a few others from 8 yrs before. We offered to pay 100 a month. NO!!! they refused they wanted 200 a month or they would garnish wages.We have no money as it is if we did our medical bills would have gotten paid! DUH..so that payment has to come out before every bill or any food can be bought or we will be even worse off. They dont care what your income is or your circumstances are or how they change. If you dont have that payment in there they are calling several times a day. I wont answer . I refuse to be yelled at and treated like crap. Whats the point they dont call to discuss your bill with you they call to give there DEMANDS! We want to pay remander off with taxes their payoff amount was 3800 I demanded itemized bill recieved in Aug owed 3600 I have paid 900 in 5 months. HUH? I said I will not pay more then 3000 because payoff should be 2700 unless they made up some fake medical bill in the back room I dont have. She said well we will take the 3000 lump sum and u can make payments on rest. hahaha.. husband tried to get them to negotiate some on whatever they are raping us for. She said and I quote this was today "we dont like to negotiate a complete payoff bill. Why should we settle for 3000 when we can just garnish your wages and get it ALL!!!"  And that raps up CHAPMAN  Financial  owned by Michael Chapman from Chapman Law Office. They are basically terrorists that invade your life and you are then under there authority. Because low income people dont have the resources available to do anything about it. Well I think its high time that changes ! We need to band together and fight this abuse and stop them from destroying more peoples lives . It is hard enough to survive now days.
so please if anyone has any information on what I can do to help take them down I want to find every source of people online available that are having these problems so we can join together and fight.

Chapman Financial are garnishing my check for approx. 1/3 of my income forcing me to choose between paying my mortgage or feeding my daughter. When I called to see if I could make payments the manager(F****NG BI***) said "NO! WE'RE JUST GONNA SUE YOU!" like it made her whole life happy. Let me just tell you these people i believe love to drive you crazy. I think they are there to hunt you down until you just can't take it anymore. I have three boys and work a full time job i owed $170.00 dollars to a lab fee from way back when that i though was supposed to be under insurance when i asked them if could make 20.00 a month payment the lady laughed at me and was extremely rude. All i can say is they would have gotten paid now they can kiss it where the sun don't shine:)

Idaho canceled Medicaid, doctor agreed to render services, then went out of business, then left a bill with these people. I'm on disability and can't hardly afford to eat, let alone make payments for anything. I tell this company about my situation, they say this is all they need to know. Less than a week goes by and they continue calling again, another automated message and another agent. I seriously doubt Chapman actually has a contract with the doctor to begin with. Chapman collections is just another predator, they do not care about your circumstances, or anything to do with the facts of the case, except harassing until people either pay, or die. In my case it will be the latter. Avoid Idaho at all costs! No rules protecting consumers, no rules protecting the disabled, or families in general. It's a 'right to corruption' state and they like it that way.

Chapman Financial called me with an unknown name and unknown number on my caller ID. There was initially a recording asking for my husband or *spouse* and said to push 9 if we were either of these people. I pushed 9 and waited and then a woman got on the line and immediately started in on a barrage of questions about who I was, what my address is, where I work without identifying who she was. Initially I kept trying to find out who she was and said, *May I ask who is calling?* She finally said she was calling from Chapman Financial. She continued to berate me for my address and I told her I don't give out information unless I know who is calling and what it is regarding. You don't just call someone up and start demanding information. I don't know anyone in their right mind who would give that kind of information out blindly. She never did tell me what it was about and she hung up on me. I later found out this is a collection agency when I looked up the company name online. I'm guessing it's for a medical bill that our insurance didn't pay so we ended up in collections somehow. That's fine and I would have no problem taking care of it but I have no idea how they plan to collect our money acting that. Does this kind of tactic really work? If she won't tell me what I owe and where to send it, how am I supposed to pay a bill like that? Obviously if I knew about it, it wouldn't have gone to collections in the first place. In my opinion they will collect a lot more money if they act reasonable.

You think these people are rude when they just call you? YOU should see how it is for us poor saps that have accounts with them! I have been harrassed repeatedly over the last year for approx 1100.00 hospital bill I accrued when I was homeless. I have paid them all of the money I owed except for roughly $150.00 which I still owe and am currently disputing. I called Chapman Financial in mid January 2009 and requested that the current collector that is assigned to my case be removed because of her harrassing and repeated phone calls. He told me that it was not possible but he ASSURED me that SHE would no longer be calling my house. That they would only contact my house by mail. Mind you, the number they are calling to reach me is my terminally ill mother's and terminally ill stepfather's house.It is also my work number. They are aware of the fact that when they call this house it is upsetting to the household and have been asked repeatedly not to call. This collector has called my house 5 times since January. I told her personally that her supervisor had said she was not to call the house. Her response was, "that was back in January,where is your payment, huh, where is it? ". I told her not to call my house again and that if you she does I was going to start a lawsuit. She has since called my house again. SO, after my complaint to the FTC, BBB, Attorney General, and ACA International, I am looking for people interested in starting a class action lawsuit against Chapman Financial. This number called me and asked to talk with me or my husband.  I was to press #1 if it was me or #2 if I were my husband, #3 if not either.  I did not press, called back and got a recording from the phone co that this was not a working number.  Not Cool!

I keep getting calls from this number everyday, sometime in the morning early, and sometime late in he evening, when we picked up no one talking, my Id showed "CHAPMAN FINANCIAL SERVICES.  I do not like getting unsolicited calls, and am irritated when we called back, and get message said "THE NUMER IS NOT IN SERVICES"????.

I am disgusted by the unethical employment of power that this association excercises. It seems that they have become a goliath crushing victims of medical mishap in their bloodthirsty quest for the  very lifebread of the already suffering. They have created a self propelling machine that is hand in hand with the very institute that should be empathetic to a life or death struggle, the value of the dollar may outweigh the worth of  life, in effect this system becomes a vicious circle striking ill with stress the folks that are struggling already .
I have nothing positive to say about or to Mr. Chapman and his "associates" . I pray that they may be held accountable for their illegal, dishonest and ugly actions. If their is ever a class action lawsuit, you can count me in . Further I would advise all people experiencing FDCPA violations to complain to the right people, right away.

Chapman finance is rude dihonest and unethical. They use an automated system wich rang my house several times a day  all week. I had my landline disconnected. If there is ever a class action law suit, count me in. If you take time to blog please take time to complain to any one who is any one, there is a fair debt collection practices act, (dept of finance),(any one in any state offices),Chapman financial should be held accountable for their illegal collection tactics wich amount to harrassment and threatening. If you make the mistake of talking to these collectors warn that you are recording the call and do it! They are  lying, non negotiable, blood thirsty theives .

This collection agency often changes its phone number, or sets it to private. When they did get ahold of me, I told them I was someone else and this was a new Go phone number. They work with several other collection agencies, and share info to try and find you. Keep your story straight, never ever give them your address. They can legaly serve papers to your address and garnish your wages. if you get a letter from them, it will be unmarked, once you open it you are legally served. Just check the address with a google search, then write return to sender on the unopened envelope.

Why not try talking with them and asking to have your number removed. If you don't they probably assume they are calling the right number.
