answered and a female automated voice claimed to be from the city of nampa, idaho calling about an overdue bill of some kind, only thing is, we've never lived or bought anything in nampa. They gave a return number but the recording went too fast and did not repeat the number before disconnecting.

I too just got a call from 208-318-0050.  I didnt answer it but I called it back and there was nothing but silence on the other line, no ringing, busy tone, nothing.  I think this is a bogus call

Not a debt collect it is the city of nampa police department or someone within the city department.

This is City of Nampa.  I received a call from a person I know at the the Parks and Rec department from this number.  The same number may be an outgoing line for multiple departments in the building.

I just got a call from this number too...saying they were the Nampa Police department asking for Larry someone...I about freaked til I realized they were looking for someone else lol...if it's even legit.

Happened to me yesterday and I just sent an email to the City of Nampa to inquire.  I have also never lived in Nampa.

same recorded message as earlier. They've called my grandparent's cell phone and my friend's as well. Pretty sure this ISN'T the city of Nampa and just some kind of scam.
