I got the same text from "First Hawaiian Bank" today. I texted back and told them to "quit phishing you fake a** scammer and get a real job!"
It'd be hilarious if I got a reply!

I got a text message from 80882059999@tmail.com asking me to call First Hawaiian Bank 208-323-8240.
I called the real First Hawaiian Bank at their website's number and they said "208-323-8240 is a scam. They are calling FHB customers and non-customers to see who is dumb enough to answer"

I recieved several calls from this number. Never returned calls because, I never did any business with
bank.

It's not a bank texting you, it's a scam from internet crooks. They use hijacked computers to spam the text messages out to thousands of cell phone number hoping some one falls for it and makes the call and gives them their card/account numbers.
Never respond, always report it to law enforcement.

Just received this scam call on 4 Nov, but they used the name of First Hawaiian Bank and want me to call them. Call originated from 8082059999@tmail.com, from 3888, whatever that is.

I have repeatedly requested from T-Mobil to block this #. Not much help from them. Was told to report them to DC? Give me a break. I sent an E-mail to HSBC to remove my # from their registry.
Is there anyway to stop this. I have a prepaid phone & am paying for every inbound stupid call.
If anyone has a suggestion how to beat this, please post it! Many thanks.

Definitely a scam, I don't have an HSBC card. Called the number from my office, they ask for last 4 of your SSN and themn for your 16 digit acct. #. With that information someone could definitely steal your accoutn information aadn run up big charges.
