We rec'd several calls back to back morning and afternoon.  Do we have something in common?  Is this person targeting just a handful of people or the whole population?  It's something worth looking into... I will report them to the Id Attorney General's Office.

Here is the quick reply I received from Midvale Telephone Exchange, Inc:

MTE Communication is the service provider for 208-355.  The number 208-355-5255 does not exist, it is a spoofed number.  

Been getting calls from this number, too.  Did a little research and the number appears to belong to Midvale Telephone Exchange, Inc in Midvale, Idaho.  I suspect the number has been spoofed since this company has been in business many years and hasn't bothered anyone until this week.  See www.mtecom.net/about.php.  I notified the company about this.  Hopefully they can get it stopped.

No messages left from the two phone calls.  They represented as department of transportation, a state government idetity. I answered while it was ringing and no one there, just disconnected.  Found out it is fraudulent telephone number where calls are made from landline in Midvale, Idaho.    Contacted dept of transportation and shared someone is representing them falsely.  Can't get anyone to answer the phone number when called back.  Maybe the State will get them shut down.

Recvd calls 1/13 and today- answered today because of local area number.
Recording about placing an Alarm System sign in my yard.  Then into details about
an Alarm System.
Recently found a site that gives you the caller location and Owners "name".
For this number it gave Midvale, ID for both.      privacystar.com

We have an unlisted number and this number has called us 4 times in the last 24 hours. I answered once and it's a computer program advising on security from the Government??!! Weird.
