We get these calls all the time.  We've asked them to take us of their call list; they don't.  One guy even hinted that since they represent the cops, we'd be better off donating.  I reported that to the BBB, but probably should have called the police.  I know a couple of Boise cops, and one in Nampa, and have brother-in-law who's a cop.  They all say this is bogus. I really doubt they're even a nonprofit.

Report them to the BBB and check out every organization asking for money with the BBB. I support the police through going to their pancake breakfast and events in the park. I do not support anything online or by phone. This IDFOP used many phone numbers to harrass us. Yes, harass and rude to my husband. They don't want me to get on the phone, he is the nice one.
If you look up the phone numbers online, it lists addresses and names of where these phone numbers are coming from. One on 14th St in Boise and the other on Iowa in Nampa. If they are harrassing, call you local police department and complain, everytime. They don't support these kinds of scams either.

Charities are excempt from the Do Not Call list law.

Most charities that call you asking for donations are frauds.  They keep 60-95% of your donation for "expenses".  The pests who call you and their bosses are paid very well, the charity gets almost nothing.

I do not give to any charity that calls me on the phone.  I suggest everyone else do the same.

None of the police in my town are members of this club.. So I will not donate to them

I'll give to them, if they give to the VFW.  Fair enough?  Oh, and stop being great examples of abuse of power.  That would be a SUPER idea.  I don't know about the rest of Idaho, but the Idaho Falls Police are to this area as Blackwater is to Iraq.  Making a major mess of the community, and not really caring.

This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Idaho Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there?s information on www.idahofop.com. Plus, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.
The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for Idaho police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

I keep getting these calls from ID FOP but I don't answer them.  They never leave a message.  Every day I get them and sometimes more than once a day.  How can I stop them?

Caller asked for wife, when told not at home became very rude and would not answer my questions, Suddenly hung up the phone. Tried callin number back always busy.

Someone on another site said this was the Fraternal Order of Police (comes up ID FOP). Pain in the A**!! I have gotten many (10+) from this number & no one is ever there & if my answering machine picks it up no message is ever left. I wonder if they are looking for "live" numbers & then they sell them to telemarketing companies? I am not a fan of these police & fire support groups. They are NOT non-profit. And I am a licensed police officer so I am not anti-cop!! Just anti "bother me at home"!!
