Add me to the list.  I had a feeling I was being scammed, after all the delays in getting information from "Alexis".  Got the first text message today, asking if I received the previous emails.  I asked which one in particular, and that was the end of that conversation.

scam artist. sent fake checks and claimed to be seeking apartment rental, claimed the money was for a deposit

Its a scam of a person named Alexis who is a yoga person who happens to get paid to take a trip to India to teach Yoga and then sends you phony Money orders and then wants you to send money to her in India  Break up from a relationship, mom died dad already dead taking care of an estate has plenty of money, blah blah blah
I turned the money orders to the City of Redding Police and reported to the Secret Service of Sacramento we were lucky just trying to rent a room out, I hope others see this or figure it out before its to late.  All started on Craigslist other sites with this phone number have similar responses.

Yep same person sent me 3 Money orders that were fake. Gave to the Redding CA police and Secret Service of Sacramento CA.  How do people live with themselves.  Sad to say the least just makes you wonder how many other people they get away with.

I got the same pictures. She claimed to be a health professional and a yoga instructor. I'm such a sucker!

I received a text from this same person who called herself Alexis. What a joke! She also stated that a deposit was on it's way.

Yes this person found my rental listing on Craigslist...even claimed to be sending a deposit to secure my rental.  She claims to be Alexis and sent e-mail pictures..What a scam...

These people are on Craigslist soliciting apartment rental.  Once they have your number they never let up.  Believe this is a scam.
