A spanish speaking man called from this number on my cellphone which is on donotcall.gov

My wife told me about the spanish phone calls, and now I recieved one. I didnt answer the the phone because I recognized the number.

I just got a phone call from 1-208-635-9381 on my cell phone.  I answered "hello" and a recording came on in Spanish.  I hung up of course.  I then tried calling the # back to tell them to leave me alone and a recording came on saying the # was no longer in service or the area code had changed (or something like that).  So frustrating!!!!

They speak English. I have asked for them to take my number off their list, it worked for a month or so, then I just got the call again. Something about Disneyland.

Received call today, August 13, 2007.  I just had my number changed not to long ago because of previous spamming calls like this.  I am not registered with "do not call registry" as I heard it does more harm than good and yet I still received these calls. I am not hispanic so I seriously doubt this has anything to do with it.  Once this number is stopped these morons will grab another number and start all over again.  Something more needs to be done than just stopping one number.

I have gotten calls from these jerks probably 15 times.
Do i really have to call Verizon to get them to stop?

Have gotten SEVERAL calls from this number. And they are calling my cell number, which they aren't supposed to do. I refuse to answer calls like these- if someone real is calling for me, they can leave a message.

Yep. They called me and I did not answer. I always go to this site to see who called me if i do not recognize the number.

I just got this call on my cell and I live in San Diego with a Jewish last name. I think they call everyone!! It really pisses me off!

Just recieved a call from 208-635-9381 as well. Live in CA so I have no idea how they got to my number. Just hung up on them. Just DONT answer the call if you see that number appear again.

I get numerous calls from this number during the middle of the day.  Spanish--don't speak so I don't know what they are saying/selling.
Would like to sue them and get reibursed for some of my bill.  
Would like to know who it is so I can call them and give them some grief.

if youre getting calls from a number with a spanish person/answering service, its a scam. i heard that if you answer saying "HELLO" they hang up. if you respond in the spanish language they talk to you (in spanish) and get you to buy a cruise or something.

First time left a message in Spanish, two other calls without any message left.

I didn't answer it, but tried to call it back.  The phone company message said there was no such number.

got a call from 208-635-9381 at 1:31 Los Angeles time.  Did not answer I just searched on the web, here I am.

Its a scam. Go here and file a complaint. It only takes a couple minutes to fill out the form.

I just received a call from that 208 number as well 10 mins ago. Hispanic last name has nothing to do with it. I'm asian with an asian name. These calls seems to me like a national crank call. They probably set up this site before they started making their calls. It maybe a conspiracy, it may not be. But everytime this happens, there's always that number listed first when I look it up online. Who do I talk to to get on the national do not call list?

They keep calling me every 3 or 4 days. It is a recorded message in Spanish.

BTW, 208 is the area code for the state of Idaho, but you can bet your bottom dollar that these calls are NOT originating there.

Just received a call from this number at approx 2:15PM Monday 7/16.  Checked on google and found this site.  Called back on my office line and got the "out of service or maybe changed recording."  This is a spoofed number by some scammers, how they got my number I don't know.  Maybe they have a computer dialer that just dials random numbers.  Annoying I know, but the only way to fight this is just no to answer your phone if the number is unfamiliar.
