I got a call on my cell pone from this number the other day.  I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer.  I have Net 10, so apparently we don't all have the same carrier.  I put them on my "reject" list on my phone so I shouldn't get another call from them.  Lately I have been getting a lot of these kinds of call on my cell phone from different numbers.  No one has my number unless I give it to them, so unknown numbers go to the reject list.

I got a message. I thought it was illegal to use a dialer to call cell #s. I dont think Ive ever seen so many comments on a single number that is obviously a scam operation. Verizon claims that they find ways of getting through their security by ever changing methods. I actually dont believe this. Until I took text messaging off my phone, I was getting the SAME message for years about owing $10,000 or more to IRS. Verizon apparently does NOTHING to prevent dialers from abusing their system. If it is illegal to use a dialer to dial cell phone #s, why wont FCC do anything? What a messed-up world we live in, with laws to protect us and nobody to enforce them. I guess the potential good thing about  Republican budget cuts and limited govt is we shouldnt pay for worthless positions in govt. However, Im sure Republicans will just put their own in those positions. Who protects the public? If anybody thinks of some good way to get back at this SCAM #, please let everybody know.

You should report each and every call from these scammers to http://www.donotcall.gov.  They think they are so smart using spoofed numbers to hide their true identity from us, the innocent people they are harassing.  They are rude, terrible people who only want to steal your credit card numbers and other personal information.  Report them!

I pressed 1 and got an operator "Anne" I just asked her to verify to whom I was speaking and that for legal reasons I have to advise her that this conversion is going to be recorded for litigation and she is speaking to a member of federal law enforcement...she hung up, has not called back.

Report them to the FCC and they will get to the bottem of it.... I have reported several harassing me via cell phone and the calls were stopped. It is illegal for them to call a cell phone or to call your place of employment after you've ask them to not call your work place. You can go to fcc.gov and fill out an online complaint and they will take care of it and slap a hefty find on whoever is making these calls.

They call repeatedly and I tell them to take me off their call list, I told them I'm on National Do Not Call, then they hung up , Today I filed a report on them as they called last night and again this morning. The next time they call I have a high frequency dog training whistle I am going to use that might blow their ear drums out !! Its extremely loud especially over a phone. When they call my daughters house she gives the phone to the 3yr. old. And he loves to yell on the phone.

I took the call and it was from "account services" - this is a scam.  Do not take the call.

When I informed the girl on the line that I wasn't interested, she cursed me out.  I was so shocked I couldn't even respond.

I somewhat disagree with you on how they get the number. I never and I repeat, "never" give out my cell number to anyone except for close friends, relatives and my employer. I even specifically have refused to give my number to Facebook for this very reason-- also why I can not accomplish certain things on Fb such as upload long vids to my wall since they have that "verification" getcha requiring cell registration. So, I am thinking that the carriers themselves are selling our numbers to whoever wants to buy them! If not, then either a friend, relative or my employer(s) gave my number to "someone," or maybe someone from Android market or Google themselves. Then again, I got calls like this and spamexts even when I had a dumb phone, which brings me back to carrier collusion.

Got a call from them and pressed 1.  When he asked if I was calling to lower my interest rates, I said, "Actually, I'm calling to opt out from receiving calls from you."  I was going to go into some FTC/FCC regulation talk, but he hung up on me before I could get to that part.

That's pretty interesting that they told you that.  Did you follow up with Equifax to see whether or not that was true?

I hate these scammers.  You know they're not actually calling from Idaho -- they're spoofing the Caller ID information which makes it that much harder to shut them down.  One day they will be caught.  Until then, we have to be diligent in our reporting of them to http://www.donotcall.gov.

It's not worth the aggravation to press "1" to speak to a live person.  They will only hang up on you (or worse).  These are illegal calls.  They are trying to steal your personal information.  We all have to report them each and every time they bother us.

I had this number left on my cell phone, because with US Cellular I could not get a signal anyway,LOL, I tried to call it back to see who it was, and I got a voice message saying that the mailbox was full. as far as wondering how they get your cell phone numbers, if you have a business or a website using your wireless number, that is one way, social networking is another. There are data service providers who gather this data and sell it. How many of you registered for that drawing for the John Deere Lawn- Mower, or the gas grill using your cell phone number? Take it from a PI, there is no such thing as an unlisted number. There are only people who dont know how to find it.

Received the call from this number at 8:57pm last night.  Same story...lower credit card interest...then said to press 1.  Of course I hung up.  Tried calling the number today, and continue to receive busy signal.  I am assuming another scam, from another loser!

Have received several similar calls from various numbers.   I have filed complaints with FCC three times.   They have all hung up when I start asking too many questions regarding their ability to take over loans.  They also told me they got my number from Equifax.
