The man who called from this number claimed to be from Evolution Processing, a firm that deals with processing credit cards. I let him know that the business I work for wasn't interested and he left me alone. The man was polite throughout this process.
Out of curiosity, I looked the company up afterwards. They have an expired website to their name and seem to be a scam hiding under the guise of a telemarketer. Other comments suggest this number also belongs to telemarketers claiming to be from Cartridge World. I would recommend sending this call straight to voicemail.

What led you to think that posting your request here would have any suasive effect on your tormentors, or that this site had any affiliation with them?  I will not bother with the flawed details of your plea, like the absence of the number you would like not to be called.

All you can do here is share information, including effective ways to combat unwanted calls.  Prayers shoved into 800notes, as if it were some sort of Internet Wailing Wall, are not among the effective methods.

Registering with the DNC, sophisticated approaches to call blocking, and exercising your rights under various laws, such as TCPA, FDCPA, etc., are, however, among the viable remedies.

This is a telemarketing company. They have called me numerous times on my cell phone. They never leave a message. I was in the process of filing another complaint on the Do Not Call website, when they called me yet again. I answered it this time so I could let them know who it is that keeps calling me. He said he was calling from Evolution. They would like to earn my business for credit card processing. They want a 5 minute commitment and to tranfer you to a supervisor when they get finished.

We are a business in California... this rather rude person calls asking for our company name but calls our home number.  Then he says we are a horrible business because I kept asking him what the hell he wanted... then he hung up... when I dialed the number back, it says it isnt in service

No message left by this number although they have called multiple times.  Thanks for letting me know they are a telemarketer representing various companies.  I have that number blocked on my phone now.

have not answered yet but they sure call a lot. i believe they left a message once but just with his name and to call him.

Annoying Telemarketer

Call came to my business.  Caller was polite, but didn't identify himself.  Asked if we currently accepted credit cards, I said no.  Ask if we would consider it, again I said no.  He thanked me and hung up.  I understand why these sales people aren't making any money.  Nobody taught them how to make a sales call.

I don't know who owns this number, but it keeps calling me. When I pick up, whoever is on the other end automatically ends the call. When I call back, I get a "number disconnected" message. I'm clueless as to what's going on but it needs to stop. It is calling my cell phone - as such, if this is a telemarketing company calling me, they are breaking the law to do so.

They called here, my hub answered.  Told him they were calling from a company that processes credit card payments.

Timlin Industries was found in searches to be a telemarketing firm using prison inmates for calls.

Probably keeps costs low, and in fairness provides experience and money to inmates.

Call came into office - Caller ID showed "Idaho" and the number but I answered bc I have to.  Identified himself as Jim somebody calling from "Cartridge World, a local company" (please!  we're across the country from there!!) and could he speak to the person responsible for ordering cartridges and toners.  I said we're not interested, don't ever call us again, and remove our number from your calling list and hung up on him.  From now on, I'll just do as I usually do - pick up and hang up.  Just felt like listening to their stupid scam this morning!

Came in to a business line.  Male asked for the fax number.  When I asked who was calling, he hung up.

Call came in to my business phone ... I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. They did not leave a message. Thank you, people who have posted. Now I can "save" the number as "junk" and can ignore it the next time it calls as a known "junk" caller.

I just received a call from that same number and the ID said Timlin Industries.  The gentleman said he was calling to check on the service I was receiving from Cartridge World.  He wanted to know about my satisfaction and asked if my printer was HP and didn't know that I had just been in two days ago.  He also didn't know the difference between toner and ink and that my printer only took one cartridge.  I was dubious about the call and when he started to say that "my computer is down..." I said "Sorry" and hung up cause I figured he was going to ask me more personal questions which I do not answer on the phone to anyone.

Cartridge World telemarketers

Got a call from this company today saying they were calling from Cartridge World in a city close to here. 208 area code is no where near my locality so I suspected from the start that this was not legit. My company does not buy ink from cold callers so, scammers or not, they are on my IGNORE list from here on.

I have an independent accounting firm.  Currently this company is tele-marekting for Liberty Tax Service.  "Following Up on the postcard they mailed me".  I threw out the postcard and hung up the phone.  I suspect they did a freedom of information act request for electronic tax filing licenses and are calling the entire country about their "recession proof industry business offer".

calls leaves no message i call back just silence.  I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY but I still get all these telemarking and solicitation calls.

Loser kept calling over and over for Janitorial svcs

I received a call from a gruff individual asking for the "person responsible for making decisions about ink and toner  cartridges".  They don't block caller ID, which shows Timlin Industries, or I would not have answered the call in the first place.  You can look them up, they use prisoners to make 400 telemarketing calls a day for $200 a month.  It's nice to know that the guy is not sitting in his cell learning new ways to commit crimes and thinking about how to get even with society, but I am concerned that a convict has my telephone number and who knows what other personal information.  If I had known he was a convict I probably would have been more polite about the way I blew him off.  I hope he doesn't spend the 2.5 cents that he's paid for interrupting me all in one place.
