I got a call from that number today. they hung up right away>

They called today and left a 4 min message that was silent. When I called back there was a operator who was automated and said they number didn't exist and/or had been disconnectd.

I got 3 calls in a span of 5 minutes. 1 had a caller id 208 792 6040. Two did not have a caller ID. Some Telemarketer

Got a call from them at noon today... who calls at this time of day? Didn't answer the phone, and they left a two second blank message (which my answering machine didn't save because apparently it's smart enough to know nothing was recorded).

Got a call from 208-792-6040 this afternoon.  Area Code is for Idaho.  The number also had 44 at the start.  Came up as Unavailable Name.  Same as I do with this type of calls.  I didn't answer it.  Why let them know somebody cares enough to talk to them.  They usually don't call back a second time.  The extra 44 usually means the number has been spoofed electronically and is usually a telemarketer.  There is no reason for a debt collector to call this number.

Withoutanswering the phone there is no way to know anything about the caller.

This number showed up on my caller ID. The caller identified herself as Tamika from some unintelligible company in St. Vincent (Eastern Caribbean). St. Vincent & the Grenadines, however, uses a 437 area code and not 208 (Idaho). The call got disconnected as I switched phones.

The person said sorry wrong number and that's it!
