I also got this call and i pressed 1 to speak to a live representative.. they asked me for my make and model of my car, my name phone number and address (which were phony) and how many miles/vin number on my car. i told them i had 150,000 + miles on it and they asked me to go out to my car and verify. i told them i rode the bus to work today and was not able to see it at the moment.. then the man told me he couldnt help me because 150,000 miles was the cutoff for the warranty and hung up on me. i wonder what they are up to

yes i am getting call from this no. from last year. google saws that this no is from Washington. does anybody know where we can report on this no.

This number keeps calling me about a car warranty. Its a scam because my warranty is brand new from a company located in CA not Idaho.

Happening in central Texas to kid's cell phone.  We don't answer but they're annoying a**holes that need to be stopped.

I got this call on my cellphone twice, one Monday at 12:58 at work, the other today at 2:32 also at work. I didn't answer either time.

My girlfriend got a call from the same number on her cellphone in the middle of the afternoon, also didn't answer.

I seriously want to track down these people and give them a good beating.  This is seriously phone harassment !

This is stupid.  I know my cell number is on a non-solicit list because ADT Home Security wasn't even allowed to call me back regarding pricing as it violates the law.  These guys are breaking federal law. Not that anyone will do anything...

Receive calls from 208-875-1597 from time to time on my cell phone; some times multiple calls in a single day. If I pick up, it's an automated message saying my car warranty is about to expire (I don't have any car warranty). Each time I tried to call back, the connection was immediately dropped.

I keep on getting it too, even when I am at school. My mom wants to call them back and chew them out but they wont answer. So the best thing to do is call AT&T and get the # blocked. The guy that is scamming us, I have done some research his name is B. Coghil Potlatch, ID 83855. I found it on google :D haha and it even gives me map directions. Just give the info to the police haha they will deal with him.

I started receiving these calls after signing up on monster.com....never received them before that....might be chance...but it's something to think about.

I have been getting calls on my cell phone for a long time saying that the factory warranty for my car had expired.  I have been asking them to take me off the list, but they keep calling.  Today, I said yes to try and get more information and so they transfered me to a Senior Warranty Specialist who asked for my make and model.  I said I had a 2004 BMW 325i and he then asked for my VIN and millage.  I told him I was not in front of my car.  He asked when I could be reached with that info.  I asked if he had a number I could call and then he hung up.

I have read this is a scam, but I am not sure what scam or how to stop it since the numbers on callerid seem to be faked.

hit 1 and chat with the agent - it costs them money... don't give them any insights or information.  But if all of us hit 1 and talk to the agent that means they are spending real money paying the agents salary...

I keep getting calls about a factory warranty on a car that I don't even own. They have called me about 10 times. Irritating.

i was at work and i got a call from this number.  couldn't answer cause i was busy but when i tried to call back it was out of service.  they haven't called again but i dont like getting calls from someone i dont know.  and then for them to be diconnected when i try to find out why someone i dont know is calling me its a bit aggrivating.

I got a call from this number at 11/04/2008 12:38pm PST to my unlisted phone number, no body knows this no except myself. My phone is uded to make calls only not to take any call. I did not answer and no message left. This is not the first call to my phone, I also got other calls from  401 17851659 at 11/03/2008 12:42 pm, from 720 4070465 at 10/15/2008 12:54 pm, frm 919 4246400 at 10/08/2008 09:56 am, and many more.  

How could they got my number? from AT&T, my phone provider?

I get a TON of calls at home also about a waren.

These people keep calling & saying it is the last call about the vehicle warranty that is about to expire. They call using various caller ID#s but they ALL ring as disconnected, or a fax tone.  If you do  reverse directory assist, they are listed as residential, they are spoofing caller ID for their needs.  If they call press 1 saying that you want more info, then blast them. I am on the do not call list & they just keep calling, they have no morals.
