Same thing they called. I said I had no Idea what they were talking about ...3-Times. They kept on talking. I told them to take us off their list!! Very Rude.

Same sports poster spiel . . . I let 'Sylvia' know that I was not interested and she responded with an irritated 'oh' and hung up on me. Legitimate or not, they are discourteous and a waste of time to speak with.
CAJABQ 2013-09-10 17:07:43 Unknown
Sad that anyone would endorse a company that has so many identical and legitimate complaints, and for so many years.
CAJABQ 2013-09-10 17:05:04 Unknown
Even if the school events are something worthy of community support, the manner in which this company allows (more obviously requires) their employees to act is NOT excusable. It makes the schools look bad and it makes anyone who works for them look bad.
Glad to know you left that company, hopefully it was a learning experience of how 'not' to sell and how 'not' to provide customer service.

I would like to know who this is, and to stop calling me. I think they said they were "CNS"---- I left a message to stop calling me.

if they are commercial, why are they calling a home number?

I know this company. We HAVE done business with them in the past. 5 years ago. But they WON'T remove us from their list. We've requested several times.
Basically they are a print /design outfit in Idaho (I'm in CA). They contract with various high school sports programs throughout the nation to produce, in our case, a local High School football schedule poster. We did it more for "community support" than for the advertising.
They are relentless. For instance, I told the woman that called Thursday that we are not interested. Today they are calling again on Monday.
Jenn 2012-03-05 15:56:29 Telemarketer
I answered and they hung up in my face. I'm so glad... now I can block them.

I called them. Pressed 2 for sales, and asked the woman to remove me.
She agreed and said sorry for the inconvenience.
Hopefully they really take me off.

My point to a place like this one selling ad space for local school is always the same: I tell the person if the school sportteam wants us to advertise then the students involved in the sport can come to our business and ask for our support. It is ridicolus that schools whether dircetly or indirectly hire outside orginzations to solicite.

telemarketer, calls daily asks for owner of business, I tell them to stop calling here, they keep calling.
will not answer any questions about who they are or what this is regarding, they just hang up.
Chinagirl 2011-06-06 20:42:29 Unknown
Calls at least twice a day, no message left.

same BS blah blah blah

Have called and called and called for the last two weeks. I finally answered and they claim to be from a local high school selling posters for the athletic teams. Sorry, not a local number. If the local school is actually selling advertising space on a poster they'd be better off having their students or parent group doing the soliciting.
jim 2011-06-06 20:42:29 Unknown
repeated calls from this number selling advertising for the local highschool - the school says they have never heard of them, so sounds like a scam to me.
these people will not stop calling no matter what you say to them

Complete scam. They claimed to be selling for our local high school. I called the Athletic Director because he is a friend of mine. This town only has 1200 people in it. He said he never even heard of CNS! I hope they call back so I can record the call and then send the info to the state department.
"Carolina" and "K" obviously work for CNS. The only reason these people have not been prosecuted is because no one has recorded on of their felonious sales calls.

My, goodness .... these comments on this number look like they began Jan 2008 and it is now March 2011, on which day I just received a call from these people. How do these sorry people stay 'in business' so long?! I didn't answer because I was on another call. Decided to look up the number before I called them back (no message left), and so glad I did!
I purchased add space from them, or someone just like them, a few years ago, supposedly for our local HS girls' ball team. They were suppose to send me a copy of the schedule with all the ads on it. As you can guess, I never received it, saw, nor heard from them again. A valuable lesson learned in my beginning business stage. Yep, always check out the people that they are supposedly selling for, verify everything, before actually making the purchase.

I always check on the internet to see who owns a phone number. If it is legit I will call them back. This one is a solicitation call. Do not answer.

I'll give them an "A" for persistence and an "F" for failure to get the point, that "no thank you" means "NO THANK YOU"! Anyone who will not give you information regarding the call is a SCAM!

These people never take you off their list even after you have directed them to do so. I think they are rude & pushy. I did get suckered into buying into their poster one year but thanks to OBAMA, our biz is way down. I told them we can't afford it & they acted like it was no big deal, we can split the payments up for later date. I said I would never do that I can't even pay on the bills sitting on my desk. SORRY! I had two words for her, DAVE RAMSEY! We pay cash or don't buy it!!

Foxwood Sports Use them if you are an A.D. These guys are legit and they are actually endorsed by the N.I.A.A.A out of Indianapolis..

Carolina - 25 May 2009: Just to let you know...this is not a scam..
It is a scam period. I own a small business and bought from these guys 4 years ago and i never received the sports date poster for my kids school. I tell these clowns to never call me again but they keep doing so.
Carolina 2009-05-25 17:58:54 Unknown
Just to let you know...this is not a scam. I worked for this company back in 2000 and 2001. The school's Athletic Director contacts CNS to do these posters which have a list of the sports' dates and times and when and where the games will played. The school gets, I believe, 10-20% of what CNS makes from the local businesses that "Sponsor" (by putting an ad for their business) on this poster. If you would like to view some of these posters...you can go to http://www.posterpublishers.net/
The callers are VERY persistent and quite frankly also very irritating but it really is for a good thing.
bob 2009-03-13 22:21:02 Unknown
CNS - phone number is 208-888-9161
Please understand that this is not a telemarketer. It is a scam. Do not speak with them.

Update to my last comment: I contacted our local schools athletics department, for which CNS was supposedly selling advertisement space on a sports schedule, and was told that they don?t have a sports schedule poster and of course DID NOT contract CNS to sell advertisements for the none existing schedule.
So my recommendation to you all: Check the facts before you throw money at CNS.
