I think Steve is very professional and he is doing a great job. His Mannerism is outstanding while keeping the information informative, obiviously some people may not understand quality of service but I believe Steve has an exellent way to approach various consumers.

Steve called and was so polite, I happened to be putting my children down to sleep and he called and was professional and very respectable thank you!  Most collectors are usually not this pleasant.

steve carter called me at work. I hired an attorney and vki has offered a  settlement. carter is rude and abusive and it is illegal for him to call you at work or at any other place if you have told him "do not call".

Some male keeps calling my phone looking for the person who had this number, I have told him that I am not this person. He is really rude and still calls several times

Left a message on my cell. Name was inaudible. Said to call (877) 240-7416 and gave a reference number. Called the number and it rang a fax machine.
Caller ID gave 208-955-7248 with a location of Meridian, ID.

Don't know who they are wanting as there was so much static on the line (do not think they are in the US as the person speaking had a very thick accent).

Mr. Steve has called me several times as early as 7 am on Christmas Eve. I am filing against him as he continues to harass early hours BEFORE 8 am!!! He called Christmas eve morning at 7:08 am when he got my voice mail he called again at 7:09 am then he called my cellphone at 7:11 am. He called an few days after Christmas at 7:28 am and I informed him that calling me before 8 am is illegal in my state.... he said "where are you from" and I told him. I made arrangements to pay the bill the following friday, and he still called me. When I asked "why would you call me before 8 am, to collect on a debt I have already set up payment for" he replied. "I'm sorry ma'am I'm just going down my list." uggg you know i have a policy, if someone calls me, is not a jerk I will pay the bill asap. If they call me and are rude and horrible, I refuse to work with them at all.

Steve did this to me too about my nephew and I kept calling him back over and over to make him explain himself and he got so made. If you tie up his line by calling him back and holding him on the phone it hurts his money. Give it a try just keep calling back over and over.

I have called the CEO, put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and I am going to write something on rip-off report. We need to stop this guy!!

I received a call from a IDIOT name Steve Carter. He is asking for a Katrina but i have told the IDIOT me nay is not Katrina and i do not know a Katrina. He is VERY RUDE and VERY LOUD. He interrupts me several times and than i asked him to not call my phone he continues to call until I transfered my number to my husband office line who is a STATE TROOPER. Thje IDIOT has not call back but we do have a TRACE on his number. I want him CAUGHT and STOPPED.

There is someone from this company calling himself Carter repeatedly contacting our place of business asking for an employee.  He has lied about information, slung personal insults and refused to give any information to either the employee or myself. He has called repeatedly. He told me that I had been used as a reference on a loan she had gotten, which I know to be a lie. When pressed information about this loan, he refuses to fax or send anything. He refuses to give out his fax number or e-mail any information. He has hung up on me repeatedly. He has harrassed other employees in this business looking for her. I will be filing a complaint with the FCC.

I got a call at my work for one of my Employee's from someone named Steve.  I asked what it was in reference to and he stated it was a personal business matter.  When I told him we do not take personal calls he got mad and said "I do not care if you do not accept them, I need to speak to her." I stated "Again, we do not accept personal calls.  What company are you calling from, I can take a message."  He said "It doesn't matter what company I am calling from."  I then asked him to please stop calling (this was the 2nd day he called in a row & I asked him to stop calling).  He stated that our number was listed as one of the numbers for that employee and that he would keep calling as much as he like until he reached said employee.  I then told him that he is not to call & because I have asked him several times not to call us and to remove out telephone number, I will report him! He told me to "take a shower!!!"

I did some investigation on this phone number and I called the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).  I called 1-800-FTC-HELP and reported this number.  The FTC stated that they have had other formal complaints on this number and after a certain amount of complaints they will file suit.  As of right now, they have the complaint and for each time he calls, I have to either record the conversation and/or get as detailed info on the conversation as possible.  Then I need to call back with my reference number.  From what the lady at the FTC stated, they will eventually report this "company" to the BBB!

I hope everyone that is getting this same obnoxious person calling them, will call the FTC!!!  I can not believe that some people can act this way.  The Debt Collectors have rights but this guy has given up his rights with his harrassing comments.

This is a collection agency, calling me for Sonic Payday - a payday loan company.  I think this guy works for himself. He answered the phone with "hello", instead of using a company name. When I asked for Steve, he said "who, oh yeah this is Steve."

Poor dude, he needs training.

I have also recieved calls From Steve, got one last night. He has called my phone 6 times in the last 3 days looking for someone I have never heard of. When I tell him that I'm not the person he is looking for he calls me a liar.

"Steve" - who calls and asks for one of our employees every week or so will only Identify himself as being with Valentine Company.  Our employee does not know him nor does he want to talk to him. (If "employee" wanted to do personal business he could do so on his own time, so call his direct number - which I would not give "Steve" )     When I asked him not to call and take us off his list - HE REFUSED -- and kept interupting me.  I then hung up - He called right back and informed me that        "He will make it his life's ambition to call and harrass me everyday."    Again I told him take us off your list -- DO NOT CALL BACK -- He hung up after I kept repeating "take us off your list"  I have rights "take us off your list"   He called back and hung up when he received my voice mail.  This is harrassment.   If our company hears from him again I will puruse charges http://www.fairdebtlawyers.com/ .

Steve calls our company looking for someone and is very rude and has been told to please not call and he calls right back and also will hang up on you.  He will never give his last name or company name but the recording when you call back says VKI. If he does work for the company called VKI he is not very professional in the way he performs business.

I have been receiving numerous calls from a gentleman that does not give his name or the company or the reason for his call. I have been telling him for months that my name is not Joanne. He continues to call me and harass me. I have reported his phone number to the better business bureau. I want this to stop immediately. My name is not Joanne. He calls all hours of the day. He must be a stalker.

A person by the name of STEVE has called my number 6 times looking for my old roommate Toni Lockwood.  Both Toni and I have told this gentleman that my number is NOT Toni's.  Steve has been given Toni's number 5 times and he keeps calling my number.  He has called me at 5AM, 5:30AM, 6AM, 4:45AM, and throughout the day.  I am very disturbed by this, he claims he is from a credit agency, but he has never given the name of the agency.  Also, he is not LISTENING when he is told what Toni Lockwoods number is.
