This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

I also am on the do not call list, and have received 3 calls in the last 3 days. Some people think GE is responsible. That is crazy. They would not do that. They mention GE security. Home Depot sells GE yard signs, security stickers, and GE wireless security systems. The yard signs are about 9.00 and the systems are about 19.99. The scammers are probably using the cheap stuff  like the signs to put in the yard and then go about their dirty work, whatever that may be. The phone numbers come from different states and area codes. They change their numbers very often. Oddly enough, a read online that the calls started coming for one person after they went to Amazon and searched for security systems. I also searched on Amazon for wireless security systems the day before the calls started coming. This seems like more than a coincidence. This has been going on at least since 2011. I live in area code 209. I don't know the number they called from because I don't have caller ID, but it was the same thing about installing a GE security yard sign in my yard. And about the FBI. The reason some people think it was a hangup call is after you answer the call doesn't start right away. There is a delay.

Spoke to operator who was extremely rude when asked to remove my number and then hung up!

I get a call from this number every night at 6:00 p.m.   The only thing I have heard them say is, don't hang up, and I immediately hang up.

I called protect america and she indicated it was not them, funny how their ad shows up here tho

Received 2 calls within 1 hour. The first call left a message on my answering machine telling me I'd won a home security system and the second call left no message. The message also told me to press1 to get off their calling list. Now why would I even want to deal with an outfit that clearly and blatantly breaks the law by ignoring the National Do Not Call list? They are clearly scam artists! I don't care what stupid reason they give for having dialed my number. My number should NOT be on their calling list.

I think these outfits use the DO Not Call list as their data base and go ahead and break the law. Unfortunately, I was out when they called. This pitch about the security system has been flooding my home phone from various other numbers. I've asked them to PLEASE stop calling but I'm simply ignored. So I've decided to speak to a "customer service" rep next time I'm home and make like an interested sucker. I'll string them along for as long as I can each and every time. I'll waste their useless time.

Since I am on the Do Not Call list, they must be a scam, as I have had no business with them in the past and they are selling something.

I have gotten a call from 209 220 1948. my sister 86 y/o lives in fresno and is very ill and when i seen that call was from Fresno CA   I answered  and phone went dead.the phone call caused for
me to have light stroke!!. i am 88 y/o veteran wounded twice and now i am a driver of wheel chair
seven days average 10 hours each day!!!

Computer message offering some kind of GE wireless home security system.  Not the first time they have called.  I hung up almsot immediately.

If you are receiving these calls, chances are you are a Time Warner Customer. I cancelled all of my services with Time Warner because I found out they were selling my telephone number..
I don't understand why they have to be so greedy. I was spending over $140.00 a month on cable internet, and phone.  When I asked them to give me an unlisted number they told me they would charge me an additional $6.00 per month!!!! Who needs this BS!

Rorbo call telling me I had won a free GE...then I hung up. I am on the DNC list, so I reported them.

My phone is on the national do not call list and I have received repeated calls from this number and want to know why.
