Called, did not answer and they didn't leave a message.  They call often even though I am not on the do not call list.

Called at 9:54 a.m. Central Time. No specifics showed up on Caller I.D. except for the number and "California". Since I don't know anyone in California, I let it ring. No voice mail was left and a Google-search only turned up that it's specifically Fresno. The number is now blocked so they can suck my busy signal (or whatever they get when a call is blocked).

I am on the do not call list-why am I still get calls from these a**-holes?

No one there when I answered our business line. Put the number on mute for future calls.

Ask your phone company about blocking services. These will prevent calls from unknown phone numbers from reaching you. The Privacy Rights Clearinghouse has information about this tactic and others.

File a complaint at the DNC website. It will enter a database that's used by the FTC and other agencies, including state attorney general offices. Complaints can be searched by keyword, area code, phone number, state and other criteria to build cases against violators.

got a call from them today on my cell. didn't answer because of the funny area code, they didn't leave a msg either.
looked it up and found these msgs about this number.  Thanks to this site i've avoided many spammer calls.
Pretty much if i don't know the number i don't answer, then look it up here and call it back if legit.
i canceled my land line because of spam callers, don't want them to ruin this cell phone number too.

They called my cell phone today with a pre-recorded message selling life inusurance.

We got the call at 8:57 pm east coast time. I think it only becomes illegal after 9pm, so they made sure they called 3 minutes before. Caller ID said "Fresno, CA" and we don't know anyone from that area so we didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. Our number is unlisted so I wonder where all of these spammers and telemarketers get our number from...by the way we're on the do not call registry and they can be fined up to like $20,000 if you report them.

Just received a call, 7PM 10/22 on the landline. No message. Bill Collector or Telemarketer?
