Since it's so simple how do you block them from your cell phone? Calling when I haven't opted-in is wrong ...plus their not TCPA and FTC compliant when they have robo calls ... Alternate solution is to file an FTCA compliant as well

This number keeps calling my cell. When I call back it states the number has been disconnected. I also believe they have my number because months ago I tried to have help with mortgage payments using HUD. When I applied on line they called right away. What company would call back that fast unless they are a fraud?

Very true.  Come here to report, not rant.  Then block the number.  It's that simple.  There is no law saying you have to answer your cell phone.  I never answer calls from numbers I do not recognize, particularly if they are out of my area code. I come here first and get the info I need, 99% of the time its a spammer/spoofer.

First I checked here like I always do, sure enough there were reports on this number.  I called it back from my work phone, not my cell - it is an obvius spoofer because this number is a cell number that is no longer in service.  If only these people would put this much effort into a real job we'd all be much better off.

Wow. People. This is a forum where people report who called them and when. It has nothing to do with the do not call list (which is basically a joke), and the telemarketing companies do not come here for your feedback.

Ranting about how you want to be removed from "their" list and posting "do not call me" is a useless waste of your time. It's also a waste of time for those of us who come here to discover the identity of the caller.

I started screwing with them, taking up their time. I usually go along with them, asking questions, sounding concerned and thankful that they called, then after a few, I informed them that I just left Federal Court yesterday, with my bankruptcy and can they help me a new charge card. This call shows up on the caller ID as a cell phone number in California.  Please be aware that a business will not call you on a cell phone.  Regardless, everyone please report this number to the FTC and do not entertain these callers.  Once you start, others will join in with them to harass you.  Ignore these calls.  REMEMBER THIS SHOWS UP AS A CELL NUMBER.

Same. What the f*** is going on? I talked to "Richard" and I told him that my home isn't at risk of foreclosure. While he was talking (really fast), saying "disregard the call", I said "I have a ques-" The f****rs hung up on me.

Got a call from them this afternoon, didn't get a chance to answer the phone and they left no message.

We  got a call from 209-271-4442, robocall re: behind on mortgage payments.  I connected to an operator, told him we were on do-not-call list, and he said we had requested this call.  When I told him we didn't want to receive these calls he hung up without comment.

This is a law firm and we are on the do not call list, but still receive annoying robo-telemarketer calls anyway.  I just received one from (209) 271-4442 and when I tried to call it back to tell them to take us off their list, the call would not go through.

These people do not give up!  I get calls every other day.

Thank you!  Jesus, some people are so frickin' stupid.  And the "do not call" registry has specific rules about what kinds of people can and cannot call you.  It doesn't mean you can't be called by anyone but your friends and family EVER.

they dont stop calling, and i am on their blocked list so i cant get through to tell them to stop..i have complained many times and they blocked me,, but they keep calling

They call every damn day. In Georgia business numbers are exempt from the do not call list. They just keep calling and calling. Pisses me off !!!!!!!!

I received a few calls from this number so I downloaded a call blocking software to block their number.  It is a free shareware.

Why complain about receiving aggravating, irritating, unsolicited, unwanted telephone calls. As long as we have telephone numbers, unlisted or not, we are going to receive this type of calls. The FCC and your State's Communication Regulatory Agency, what ever it's called in your state, get too many complaints to do anything to prevent it and the greedy telephone companies make too much money selling the numbers and throw-a-way telephones to stop it.
I quit reporting them to the Do Not Call Registry, it does no good to do it. The FCC will only investigate if the call is "Threatening". That's what they told me when I wrote to them about these callers.
