Received two messages from this number last week, prerecorded.  Man (heavy accent) claiming to be Police Officer Paul Dempsen demands I return his call, or have my attorney return his call immediately.  "Do not try to ignore this call."  I called my local police department, and reported the call to the FCC.  I also called the Stockton CA police department to confirm they did not have a police officer by this name.  Of course they didn't!  Today I received another call from a Freeport, TX number (man sounded similar) claiming to be from the IRS.  He said there was a pending lawsuit and I owed a lot of money.  He needed to talk to me or my attorney about it.  I simply replied, "Do you know Police Officer Paul Dempsen?"  He seemed confused.  I repeated myself.  He said, "I just need to talk to you."  I told him I'd talked to two police departments and the FCC and he hung up.

Left 2 messages (evidently pre-recorded) on Friday within 4 hours of each other claiming to be an Officer Paul Vincent, demanding that I or my attorney call back immediately or else there would be consequences. Sounds like a scam; I don't live anywhere remotely near Stockton, CA so I can't imagine why he'd be all fired up -- didn't say who he was an officer with or even request to speak with me by name. Probably just phishing for personal info.
