Interesting to note the dates on these posts. they seem to be from late in 2009 and more so through the winter and spring of 2010. If I recal there were some very pushy national census people around my area during that time. They came to my house even after I mailed the census in. They also made me sign a waver stating that the house nextdoor is unoccupied. I have a friend who was threatened to be prosecuted if she didnt answer their questionere when they showed up at her door. Im curious to see if there is another wave of calls this winter.

Hi there! This N A D has been calling me a lot in the last week. Nobody responded the first couple times I answered it. The number I got was 414-877-5502 always showing NAD on the I.D. I quit answering cause I dont know who it is and I dont need to talk to them. It could be some kind of sensus program calling trying to determine land line occupation or collecting data about when people answer their phones. People dont get paid to call and hang up on people for no reason and considering that there are a lot of people experienceing this to the extent that they are looking to the internet about it... imagine how many people more are probably experiencing this but not putting any attention into it. It appears to be widespread which leads me to believe that there must be a motive and what can you get out of calling people for no reason except information about who and where.

209 is in California. They don't seem to call me as much, since I let the fax answer, but not send anything.

This number 209-320-9666 called this morning at 830am and then again at 1230pm today.  The caller ID says NAD.

A woman from this number called this morning.  Asked to speak to me and then hung up on me.  Have no idea who these people are.

i keep gettnig phone calls from this number saying that they are calling about a warranty for a car that we haven't had in months. when i explained to the man that we no longer own the car, and i wasn't interested in what he was selling he said very rudely "whatever lady" and hungup on me.

I got a call on 02-11-2010 also from this number they hung up. a click. Who are these people?

Someone from this number called my parents house stating that they were going to repo a car that I traded in 2 years ago. Don't these people ever get up to date information.

I got a call from them yesterday saying they were from the "warranty division" from a car maker that I have not owned in three years.

Have received numerous phone calls from this number.  When we did talk to a person they asked about a warranty on a car we never owned.  Asked to be taken off their list and they continue to call.

This number just called me, and when I answered it and it sounded like the woman said "(F-ing) my sister's boyfriend!" so I hung up. Surprised to see other people got fake calls about cars rather than what I heard.

Their other phone number is from Palmdale, Cali and it's 661-208-3127..that's the number that starts calling you after you call back and request to be put on their "do not call" list..big load of horse shet!

Even if you block their number, they start calling you from a new number.  I'm not getting calls from "N A D" from the number 661-208-3127.  The 209-320-9666 number still has not been shut down.  Do I have to fly down to California myself and deal with these morons in person?

After having been called numerous other times by this number, two days ago I received four calls between 8 am and 10 am -- twice I answered and there was no one there; twice I didn't answer, it rang four times and then stopped.  I have blocked the number.

Just recieved my first phone call from NAD no one was on the line, called them back got busy signal.  We just bought a new car so maybe everyone is right and the auto comapany is selling our info.  I put a block on my phone for these people.

I think i am going to try the old fashioned whistle!  Next time they call they will get an earful.  Are you with me?!

They are offering "extended warranties" on vehicles.  Not sure where they are getting their information, I beleive they are phishing .....
