Got the same text in FL from a different number, appearing local, at 9:03pm. Did not call back. Also a Verizon customer. Definitely a scam.

I live in Alabama and received this message on Jan 4, 2014.

I received a message from this number in upstate New York (Adirondack region). Message was sent Jan 6 at 11:51 a.m.; supposedly from a vtext.com email address.

I live in CA and I received it on jan 4 also.  Must be some sort of scam

Just sent to my phone and my husbands phone in Tennessee. The message was the same as everyone else's. my husband and I do not share the same numbers but were called at the same time!!! Someone has hacked Verizon accounts for sure!

No idea who this is but WHY are they texting me at 5:40am?! Good thing I use sleep mode on my phone.

In Minnesota.  Phone (Verizon) was off yesterday (the 5th).  When I turned it on today was the message from yesterday 8:48 AM "(Contact Achieve Department) Call: 12093826322".

Reports being from 50725126@vtext.com.

Received text this morning, 5:45am, Northern California.

I live in California and just received this message. Texted back and told them to buzz back. The text came back as undeliverable.

I sent an email to Achieve Card about this.

I don't own a credit card. Its from Achieve Pre-Paid visa Debit Card. What is a "pre-paid" visa debit card? I don't have one.

Received the same text msg. we are Verizon customers in TN.

I am in NJ and got the same text.  When you call the number it indicates a recently purchased gift card was deactivated and to reactivate enter the account number.  Scam for sure.....

I'm in ca got the same text this morning. Bad news prolly. Just google weird texts like that so you don't get hacked.

I just got a text from these people on jan. 5 at 8:46. Didn't have my phone on all day so received it today Jan. 6th.

got same call.  I'm  in California.  automated recording wanted me to type in my visa number to "reactivate"... uhh,  no!!!  so I called the number on my card to find out if they sent the text.  they did not.  it's a scam.  don't enter any personal info.
