A friend of mine got the same message. Assumed it was a scam.

An IPAD is not a phone and this is just a hoax. I went 2 Metro PCS and showed them the messages, I got recieved 3 of those sms text.

I got 3 of these messages from 3 different numbers, 3 days in a row.  The caller's numbers' were: 6988, 6395, 6763. I went to METRO PCS and they said it is a hoax.
