Today Nov.7-2013
I have received two text sms messages for some items I sell in kijiji and one message on Nov.06 from this naval officer with the number 1-361-704-1046 and today I received another text sms message from a guy named Pedronewauto50502gmail.com from this number 1-209-730-8119 So I guess those scammers use different numbers now.

I received the same inquiry saying he was a navel officer on a ship.
Said his name is Pedro Gonzalez. He wanted to have a package picked up before paying for it.
Total scam.

I received a text from this number yesterday in response to an ad that I have on www.kijiji.ca He seemed interested in the item I have for sale, but after showing my fiance the texts and emails exchanged he advised me to not go through with the transaction as it has every "Red Flag" in the book re: online scams. Will do more digging and see. If I find anything else out will update the post
