recd call - called back - number no longer in use!

Received a call and I answered .  Dead air. Very annoying on business phone

Got a call, no one there, looked # up on whitepages.com, without a paying a fee all it told me was a land line in Modesto.

I agree with everyone. How can I stop this. It is disrupting my business. They will not answer when I call to ask them to stop calling. Who can I call to report this harassment. Help!!!!

209-554-2363 is a scam phone system, which is trying to get into company credit cards or bank accounts.

# calls all 4 lines several times a day. !!! to busy at work to deal with this.. :( Have no idea how to stop it

Received a call today on our business line.  It's a local area code, so I thought it was business related.  The automated message stated "Hello, this is a call regarding your business's PGE Gas & Electric Bill..."  I hung up after that.  We don't have a PGE account.

I received a call too.  The recording said I could "get a discount on my utility bill".  I hung up before hearing the end of the recording.

Got a call from that number today, 05-04-2012 I answered, but no one was there.

I  get a call daily from this number.   No one is on the other end of the line.

Calling the same time everyday saying nothing and seems to be a disconnected line.
It does not exist.

No voice, no message. the most primitive stupidity.

Same as all the others, and it's a local number for me.  They only call my business line, and it's happening around the same time every day now.

This number calls and there is not one there to say Boo. Happened several times in the last week.

I started receiving calls from the same number. any idea who it is?

From 10:19am 4/26/2012 until 4:10pm 5/1/2012 my company has received 283 calls from the caller id # 209-554-2363.  Most calls range from 8 to 25 seconds in length.  We own a few thousand numbers.

I am now programming that caller id number to when they call again, they will just get a recording stating the mailbox you called has reached it's message capacity. Please call back later. Good Bye.

Got a call from this number and when I answered there was no one there.  They hung up.  I called them right back and got a "Sorry, the number you have called has been disconnected." message. WTF?

I have just received another phone call from 209-554-2363.  No one was on the line.  I have been told that it is usually a computer finding out when someone will be at your telephone number so that an actual person can call at the time slot to sell something to you.

I want to state a point here that you guys do not need more reports than all of these before taking action to stop this sort of scamming and/or harassment against ordinary citizens who have done nothing wrong.

I have already seen and read through many of these reports here, and therefore we all need help without waiting for too long before we can get the relief needed as victims from all of these.

They been calling and when I pick up, there is silence and they hang up very ANNOYING.

All of these scam calls are able to have a number of their choice show up on your ID display. Once they used the number of a business one of my friends owns. He said that he did not call me. One clue to a criminal scam call is the name shown on your ID display is not a business name.

I keep getting a call at least one a day from this number.  Nobody answers and when called the message is "this number is not in service".

Received the call....dead air.  called back and was told number was not in service.

Same as others, I received several calls from this phone number, no message no one answer.

I keep getting calls from 209-554-2363. If I don't know who is calling I don't answer.  If they don't leave messages I block them from calling again.
