asking that question on this site is silly

I get 2 to 3 calls a day from the above number,they never leave a message.If it is someone i know,they will leave a message.I do not answer a call from a number i do not know.I am on the do not call list.

I got this call tonight too.  Turns out it is legitimate and really is MedicAlert's robo-calling fundraising marketing/awareness of new products and services.  I have had a MedicAlert necklace pendant for years to warn of allergies to med.s, etc.  They're a really good group, and I'm a member, so ai don't know how the others here got called, but they're not a scam and when I called back I actually got MedicAlert.  Noone stalking you here, but you must have either responded to them or someone you do business with sold them your name on a marketing list.  Actually Alfred, they DO call you sometimes now for for good non-profits like this!

I've been getting calls from this number between 7:30-8pm eastern daylight time.  Understanding it is medic alert from other messages.  I have a pendant.  If you want to give, wait until you call them for something. The first rule of safe telemarketing for the people is you call them, they don't call you..

As I A) do not recognize it and B) am at work when they call, I never answer.

These jerks keep calling me past 9pm. We're on the Do Not Call list and they call every single day. Will be filing with federal authorities.

Received phone call from the above number but no message was left.  If I can't identify the person calling, I don't answer.  I figure if it's someone I know and not a telemarketer then the would leave a message.

I received a call from 209-669-4490 but did not recognize the number so I didn't answer it.  No voice message was left.  I do not know who the caller was but believe it is probably a telemarketer.  I am on the Do Not Call list.

this number called  on a day I was very paranoid cause of a bad situation. I don't know it it was random, as people are saying,but if this person is targeting people in bad/scary situations they need to be locked up. It is NOT funny.

Caller ID says MedicAlert, and I do have a MedicAlert pendant.  I've been receiving a phone call from this number every day for several days.  I finally decided to call back today.  Even though I dialed the 206-669-4490 number (California area code), the woman who answered said that I reached the Hillsborough County, Florida School Board, and that I had reached a completely different number with an 813 area code (Florida) number.  Apparently the number that shows on caller id is forwarding incoming calls elsewhere.

Hang up call to my answering machine on 8-6-2012.  Caller ID shows CALIFORNIA.

Received (2) calls from this number over several days on my cell phone and caller never left a message.  I did not answer as I do not recognize the number.  My cell phone is listed on the "Do Not Call" register but that did not help.  Advise blocking this number to avoid being bothered.

Received call from this number, which upon answering, merely hung up, but not before a data burst came through/
