I got the exact same message. I am so glad I knew about these scams. I wonder how many times their scams work.

Hello everyone, i got the exact same email from this lady, and i was actually talking back and forth with her. she said that she was actuallu ok with the price and that she would only pick up the truck once the money was in my bank account.... any thoughts on that?

I just got the same email for a bike I have for sale on kijjiji.
As I have brains I knew it was a scam right off the bat.

Beware! This Dumb-Hoe attempted to sucker me in for my dirtbike on kijiji. This is a total scam. She wanted to buy the bike so bad, yet she only seen a couple of pictures online. She says she is a marine biologist and that she wanted to buy the bike for her son in Malasia. WTF??? Complete waste of my time, Dont fall for it!!!

Here is the email I received today about a motorcycle I advertised on Kijiji.ca.

Thanks for the  information, it was really of immense help,i am really interested in buying it and i want to go ahead with the purchase, i am pleased with the price but I can only conclude the transaction through PayPal for our own protection,PayPal act as a neutral third party. it is safe,secure and reliable.

I insisted on PayPal mode of payment because i don't have access to my bank account online as i don't have internet banking but i can pay from my PayPal account  as i have my bank a/c attached to it and also due to the fact that i am currently offshore and I won't definitely be able to make it to my bank to wires money across to you.It is what safe and convenient for me.

Same here. Total scam. The number they used to text is 319.435.0795. First thing once my post went up. Then I emailed "the mother" the "marine biologist", who apparently cannot talk via phone, only intermittently by iPad and insists on PayPal.

Just received a message from a different number but same story. Number I received the text from is (903)-347-3519. Claiming to be Rebecca dagg marine biologist. And wanting to ship the truck over to Malaysia for her son. I had my suspicions from the start. And this just confirmed it. Thanks guys!!

My husband almost got caught on this one.  I work at a bank so I've seen so many types of scams.  I tried to warn him but he wouldn't listen to me.  When I finally got home and was able to search her name, I found this.  So thanks everyone for the information so I could finally get through to him.  Who would buy a $6000. bike sight unseen?  Really????

Just had exact same thing.  about six emails back and forth then I finally clued in.  Told her/him that the only way I would go through with this transaction is if she would fax me a copy of her birth certificate and then wait for me to not only recieve the money through paypal, process it and withdraw it from my bank.   Guess what.....  No response.  I suggest that everyone send text after text saying the most obscene sadistic things they can dream of right back to the number.

Ya, just got the same message on the vehicle I am selling. Can't be true. Becarefull folks. Will not be dealing with this person or finishing any deals via Paypal.

i got the same email and almost sent the bike away... thank god i went on google and saw this because i got the exsact same reply !!!

Seems Rebecca and son are still floating their story and scam.  Played along for a while but the more back and forth emails made us more uncomfortable.  Then when Rebecca insisted on PayPal and gave the story of being off shore and no access to back account or phone but was communicating via an iPad the alarms started to go off.  If you have access to the Internet and an iPad you have access to Skype and other apps for web conferencing and VoIP phones.  Thanks to everyone who has posted here because a quick search on her name saved me alot a pain and money.  We need to be just as smart or smarter than the scammers and use the power of the web against them.

i recieved this an email message from rebecca dagg just a few days ago saying she liked everything i had to say about my truck.

You receive a msg from paypal saying the transaction will be complete upom payment of shipping by moneygram.  A moneygram for $2500 to be delivered to the shipping company.  The moneygram is cash only and there are no insurances.

Pure SCAM!!

We had our pickup for sale on kijiji and almost got scamed by a Rebecca Dagg who wanted to buy our truck for her son (studying/working) to be shipped to Malaysia. First we got a txt for the son asking us to email his mother the info. We could have gone through with it if it wasn't for all you people so thank you ever so much!!:) the email we were to respond to was rebydag@gmail.com. This Rebecca also claimed to be a marine biologis working on the St. Lawrence river in Quebec. The phone number we received the txt from was 254-304-5645.

We got that same email an I mean like word to word the same! I'm so glad I googled Rebecca Dagg before going ahead with it all!:) thanks everyone!
