Tis shows  'Bill R' on caller ID.  He is a very rude person. Calling to see if I
wanted to do computer work, work from home deal. I asked him politely at first to delete
my phone numer, I didn't authorize calls from his business. I am on Do Not Call List
(which means/does nothing to help anyone). He proceeded to get rude with me, trying to
get me to take his bite. I hung up on him. HE CALLED BACK! I didn't answer.

he said he work for credit card company. SIAD HIS NAME WAS JOHN TURNER. That he had a job opening for me in my area. I told him stop calling. he said this is john turner he never call before. I said I have your phone no. from 3x before. he got very rude. I hung up.

I just got the same call and there was no message left so I didn't even brother to call them back.

Have you considered introducing that caller to MR. CLICK? Just block all calls from that number.  Don't answer strange numbers. If they can't leave a message, they are not worth your time. If the message is strange or requesting information, block the call. They should be able to mail information to you since they obviously know your phone number.

  I received a call from this number and deliberately did not answer. I did not recognize the number or know anyone that lives in that area. I blocked the number out of my phone. If the call is legitimater, they should have my home address. They need to send me some correspondence. I haven't seen any yet...

Dave, just use the call blocker app on your phone and block calls from those idiots.

My friend, you never have to accept that type of treatment from anyone. You have "the power of the click ". By this I mean the power to hang up and block the call from your phone. Never carry on a conversation or give ANY information. In fact, dont answer strange calls. If they can't leave a message, they are not worth your time. If they know so much about you then they can mail their information to you. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PROVIDE AN ADDRESS.

I suggest that you use the call block on your phone and block the number out.  Do not answer strange numbers. If they will not leave a message, they are most likely not worth your time. BLOCK THEM OUT! A legitimate company will send correspondence in the mail if they really needed to get in touch with you. There should be a call block app on your phone. Make that app your best friend.  Dont evercallow anyone to upset your nerves

I suggest that you never answer or call back strange numbers from your phone. Purchase a throw away cell phone for specifically this purpose. Then make sure that you block the unwanted number from your private phone. There are a lot of scams out there. Trust me...other scammers will be calling. So you definately need that throw away phone!

Unfortunately, I am not aware of who to report these calls to. However, I do suggest not answering strange numbers and allowimg the answering machine to take the call. If the person does not leave a message, call them back well at the end of the work day frpm a "throw away " phone to listen to any voice message.  If no message, it is likely a SCAM. BUT I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU BLOCK STRANGE NUMBERS TOTALLY FROM YOUR PHONE. CALLERS FROM THIS NUMBER HAVE BEEN RUDE And  plain out Nnasty to folks that answer. They are not professional and...there again...SCAMMERS!

Keep calling about a job working for VISA, blah blah blah. Keep telling them I cannot work now as have cancer and am in chemo/radiation treatment. Obviously that doesn't stop them either. I don't answer them anymore. I don't answer my phone from anyone 5 days a week as am too sick from chemo and radiation. My family even knows not to call until spouse is home. Even if/when I get better I wouldn't work for them after that.

Just got called from this number and I answered. He said my name like he knew me and I said yes. He then asked "how's the weather in Arizona? " I said "good, who's this?" He said "good, good, just wanted to let you know you did a GREAT job on that survey" and hung up. Lol. Ok?

This number has been calling every day and there never would be a message left.  
"A A" 209-757-4820 called twice yesterday.  I answered the second time and he asked for my husband.  I asked him what the call was about and he became belligerent and nasty.  I told the telemarketer not to call this number again and as he started to cuss me, I hung up.
So far, that number has not called back.

I'm on the Do-Not-Call list but it hasn't stopped the telemarketers from calling, and calling, and calling.  In fact the calls are worse now.  209-757-4820 calls every day and never leaves a message.  Caller ID showed "A  A" and the number.
I think these a-holes get the DNC list just so they'll have numbers to call.  5 to 6 different numbers now call my number every day.  I don't answer my phone.

Report them to the ftc or on the do not call list there is a complaint form to fill out.  I always report them even with only a phone number.....

Received a call from 209-757-4280  but hung up when I answered the phone.  When I called back a recorded female voice said "Your number will be added to our do not call list."  Good thing I hope!

This number keeps calling my phone 5 times a day and you can't call it back. Infuriating!!!

I got a call at my job. Merchant Services wanted to know if I was interested in a part-time job working from home selling visa & mastercard. I said I wasn't not interested. How does these bottom feeders get people's numbers?

That's funny.. I get less calls.  What you have is scammers,frauds etc using dialer's and those don't recognize any DNC let alone private unlisted numbers. Sooner or later those find you regardless.. and they spoof numbers and are relentless in most cases.

When you add your number to the DoNotCall list you will start to get more calls. Don't understand that unless they are selling your number like the rest the of the crooks out there.

Anthony - said he was having a great day.  He's with "Merchant Services" whatever that is and wanted to offer me a job in my area.  I let him know I was perfectly happy with my 2 jobs that I currently have and was not interested. I could here him keep on talking in the background and I proceeded to say No thank you and good-bye and hung up on him.

Received a call from this number and was taunted and greatly disrespwcted when all I was asking was to not be called again.

I too saw this # on my call display.  I don't answer #s I don't recognize and they did not leave a message.  So I checked the # as all of you did and I am glad I did!  Thank you to people like you that take the time to comments on these types of things.  I have been surfing the web for jobs and that's the only reason they may have gotten my number.  But these job sites claim your contact info on your resume is protected?  When these kinds of calls happen to me, I just refuse to answer and let them call and call and call, wasting their time and they eventually die away.  What losers!!!

I just received the same call.  I asked 3 times to take me off the list.  You don't even know what I am talking about.  He kept on going, what if I had a box of $1,000,000 at your doorstep you wouldn't take it.  I finally hung up on him.

Some drunk idiot. Keeps calling. Then hangs up. I spoke once to him and he slurred his words and said something about Visa.

Try reporting it to your phone company.  Most of the time if you give the phone company the time and date you received the call, something can be done and it can be turned over to the police.  The time and date is for tracking purposes for the phone company

I had a missed call from this number.  I called it back and it sounded like some creepy movie or something out of that show American Horror Story........."Thank you. Your number has been added to our do not call list".
