Got a call from a company claiming to be the law office of Russell miller,.

no not take phone calls from 916-447-7223, sounds like a bunch of india guys

I hav gotten three phone call stating the samething he tells me the last 4 numbers on my SS# and my name. First number was 209-780-4548, second was Mark Johnson 501-545-8942, Last was John Tompkin 408-905-2044 all told me I or my lawer needed to call them back or GOOD LUCK!!! I did report it to the POLICE.

This number called me twice in a day leaving 2 long messages in broken english, telling me to have my attorney call and if not, then good luck in court!

Received 2 messages 2 days in a row from an Indian guy who said his name was John Watson (yeah right) saying that either me or my attorney need to call him back immediately and if we don't that 'all he can do is wish me luck as this situation unfolds on top of me". guy above me had the same thing happen so i'm assuming its a scam. guy never said what the company was or what it was in regards to. very threatening.

Yep.  Got this as well and for the 4th or 5th time.  

Keeps asking for somebody and it's in relation to some lawsuit in California regarding the Hanson Brothers.   They want to speak to someone named 'Gary'.

I finally told him that he had the wrong number, to remove the number from the database, etc.

He then told me that it wasn't his responsibility to remove me, it was mine since this was the number 'Gary' had given and there was a lawsuit pending in California regarding 'Gary'.  I told him that I'd absolutely get the number removed and we could discuss it while HE and I were in California court while I sued his *ss for calling me.

Got a message on my phone saying he was an attorney , could hardly understand him. Called the
number back, and when he said Lawyer I said what Lawyer and he hung up. When I got home I
called from my house phone and they said oh it was a wrong number. He has since called 2 more
times on my phone. I called and told them to leave me alone. How do they get our numbers and who can we complain to?

I RECEIVED A CALL TODAY, FROM A LAME ACTING LIKE A ATTORNEY. BUT YET COULDN'T TELL ME WHY HE WAS TAKIN ME TO COURT. THESE GUYS HCKED INTO THE COMPUTER, AND GOT MY SOCIAL SEURITY NUMBER AND IS TRYING TO RIPPED PEOPLE OFF, SO BEAWARE OF THESE INDIAN FOOL. ALSO BEAWARE OF THE NUMBER 1-850-810-6558 FAKE NAME RICK WATSON. I LAUGH AT THESE CLOWNS.

The guy just called both my cell and my work phone and left threatening messages but did not disclose the actual nature of the call.  Since one hears about people making scam calls I decide to research the phone number he gave me and I'm sure glad I did.  I'll make sure to let my family/friends know if the Indian/Middle Eastern guy call just to hang up on him.

I got the same call and he left a message saying the same thing he did to you Joseph.  The same guy called me about 2 months ago he pretty much said the same thing than also pretty much saying he was an attorney and I was being sued by a payday loan back in October.  He went on to tell I either send $500 or I was being sued for $7000 anyway he wouldn't give anymore information and than he decided to start yelling and cursing at me when I asked questions.  It is a scam.

i got a call askin to speak to my attourney and when i asked what about all he would say is he cant disclose that information so i hung up. the guy sounded indian.
