I also recived a charge on my credit card. How do they got our account number???

Which company had been compromised. I also recived a charge on my credit card.

I found this erroneous charge on my bank statement this morning. I called the number right away because I knew I had not authorized this charge. I found the same thing a foreign voice asking me to leave my name if I wanted a refund! WTH! I went to my bank and closed my debit card. Sadly enough I had to eat the charges because it is the bank's policy that I am responsible for the first $50 of unauthorized charges (that's another story). The charge was made at 2:30AM.

I received an email earlier this week from a company that I order from online. They informed me that some of there records had been compromised I am thinking this is what happened to me. I changed my password for that online company. I hope that is ALL I needed to do. Bottom line, I closed my debit card and I will be watching my account more closely now. Computers/Internet both a blessing and a curse sometimes.

The same thing happend to me on my cardit card and the recording said the same thing if you want to remove cancel please spell you last name.

Fraudulent charge on my credit card with 1 209 813 0177 HOMETV as the company listed. When I called the number to see what was going on an automated voice asked me to spell my last name for confirmation. I hung up and contacted my bank immediately. They canceled my card.

This phone number charged my bank account.  If you call it there is some foreign woman who wants you to spell your name to cancel.  I never started!
