do not it is a scam for money I got the same call my uncle is a retierd narcotics officer head of narocotics in bridgeport for 25 years its a scam from this f****ng guy trying to get money out of people dont worry about it he tried to get 4800 dollars out of me but I knew right away it sounded so wrong and i called my uncle and they have heard about this scam before do not pay anything you are fine dont worry about it.

I had te same thing happen to me yesterday I order pain pills for my leg first time I have did it over the internet because my insurence also rab out and said that there was coccaine in it and it was siezed and I would be deported to the dominican repubic if I could not come up with 4800. Ronald J Smith is a con artist and he is very dangerous to be around. He pretends to be a lot of people, so you should be very careful. He can talk a good game and that's the scary part about it.

oh yeah I talked to Stanley too and he said I could be arrested and be humiliated or go to the bank and withdraw cash!!! I haven't done anything illegal but asking for cash..major red flag!

The very exact thing you wrote just happened to me about 1 hour ago. When I told this Mr. White I was walking to my neighbor's house to call my husband (since he would not let me hang up the phone - or the authorities would come) he disconnected the call. My neighbor is a Sheriff. He had heard of this prank and told me I was not going to Federal Court. All is well. But man do I want to stick it to this Mr. White for the fear he placed on me today. Glad I found this site. It made me feel better too.

this is now my second call from one of these now its a John Davis calling from supposed Baltimore Maryland 301-494-4953 which is not a Maryland area code. I called it back no answer just a message machine. When I look this area code up it isnt the area code for Baltimore. Just be aware in case you receive the same call.

Same thing same name David white same number I called it back all day and voice mail picks up! I was wondering why he would be calling me too! I was stressing over it and that of course is unsettling to get a message like that! I am going to report it.

I just got a message from this same number from a David white border patrol customs division 78 and called it back and got voice mail. This is a kentucky area code. I was wondering what the heck this man wanted to speak to me about he said same thing on going investigation and needed my cooperation in asking some questions.

I received the same exact call.  Told him to come on over.  Called the main office and they said it was a prank. What a jerk! Do not give him any personal info.

I received a vm from a special agent David White with the US Customs and Border Patrol, Badge # N2239, Div 78, Narcotics...... same deal as all of the other posts, with the exception that he did not ask me for money on the vm nor during the time I was on the phone with him but he kept telling me that there was an arrest and search warrant out for me and that the cops were 5 minutes away.  One minute he was super nice to me and then he would start yelling at me that I was about to go to prison for at least 10 years.  I kept telling him that I just didn't believe this was really happening and eventually he hung up on me.  Thank goodness for my fiance' finding this site otherwise I would still be thinking that at any minute a S.W.A.T. team was about to bust thru my door.  Thanks to all of you for putting your experience out here for everyone to see, I know it instantly gave me some relief.

I just got a call from Special Agent David White from US Customs Department Border Protection Unit, Narcotics Division. On the message he left me, he stated I was involved in an ongoing investigation, and I needed to return his call immediately at 859-697-2009.My husband did alittle research and found out he was calling from Mt. Sterling KY.40353 from a land line thru Inter Mountain Cable.I called US Customs and they said they are currently looking for Special Agent White and he goes by several other names also. It is a scam to scare and intimidate individuals into paying money for various reasons.

I just got a call from Det. David White telling me I was involved in an investigation (of unknown matter)  It was just like all the other reports on here.  This scam artist called from 859 697 3009.  I called the guy back, no one answered and I left the message to come get me, I have no business with him.  Then I called my local Sheriff's office with no help at all.  Then I called U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and told them the story and about all the replies left on this website.  She told me it wasn't legitimate.  Gee, what was her first clue?  Anyway, I didn't fall for his b***s***.  If he wanted me he could come get me (from Kentucky and I'm in AZ)

Same here...this morning. Went to PD and  told it was  a scam. then recieved a few more calls from unknown area codes telling me to get the money asap.  Even recieved a text! Pisses me off! I feel bad for those they are able to manipulate...

Look up the word "extortion" in the dictionary. Now, if the idea of being on the receiving end of extortion appeals to you, then by all means call this number back.

I just got the same call, from 914-595-5933.  I didn't understand his name, but he gave me the same drug story, cops are on the way, etc.  I just kept saying I didn't know what he was talking about, then when I asked for his name again and a number to call him back, he hung up on me.  It did scare me though, until I came here and saw that it was a scam.

and that i was facing 2 to 5 years in the federal prison.  
BUT - Glory!  There is a way out!
I just have to pay $1000 immediately to another US Customs Officer at the same number and would not be arrested + this would not be on my record.  They verified my mailing address and said they would mail the details to me forthwith but I had to pay this immediately of be arrested.
They were actually very good.
I called the local Sheriff's office and he told me it was almost certainly a scam,  to wait and see but that if someone showed up. to call them first thing.

a person named stanley anderson, from the border patrol and customs division of the dea, called and said that if i didn't pay a fine for ordering medication online that i would be arrested and humiliated.  said i had to pay via western union (red flag) within 40 minutes or agents would come to my house and arrest me in front of my family.  said i had to wire money to the dominican republic to a randy gomez at 150 charles avenue, capital, dominican republic.  wanted me to make payments.

I also got a call from a Howard Baldeni on my voice mail.  Saying hes w/US Custom&Narc. unit Div 78.  said there was an ongoing criminal investigation.  Said I should call 210-374-8093...210 is Texas area code.  I was quite relieved to read your post and was floored when you used the same name as I got!  Like I said mine was via voicemail.  Did you speak to this guy? thanks for sharing everyone, as this was not a good way to start a day!

Ronald Smith must have an IQ lower than a monkey's... He calls me to threaten me about spending the next 25 years of my life in a prison in the Dominican Republic and that he would have a patrol car outside my house within 5 minutes if I did not pay the fine...  He has to be linked with other people impersonating DEA officers with a telephone number of (202) 239-5715 Julian Thomsom or whatever their names are.  They want you to send money to the Dominican Republic under the name of EDWARD CUEVAS....  Please, do not fall for this fraud!!!!  I am still waiting for the patrol to come and pick me up withing 5 minutes and I received the call 3 days ago.... I think they weren't even good enough for AAA!!!!   Shame on all of you people who take money from those who earn their money honestly and by hard work....  Don't worry, you will get yours sooner or later... KARMA does happen to us ALL.....

Caller claims to be Damon Miller with the U.S. Customs Border Protection and threatens to arrest you if you dont send money.  He uses phone number 209-846-1243.  Claims it's related to some previous pharma purchases.  Total scam.  Do not speak to him or send money.  Tell him you are going to call the "real" police and hang up.

I just got a 30 minute phone call from Special Agent Ronald Smith threatening to arrest me if I don't send a cash wire of $4,000 to District Attorney Yerison Mata in the Dominican Republic within 2 hours.  I told him to pound sand and that I had called the DEA so he said I will be arrested in 5 minutes.

My mother got a call from 209-846-1243 from a person supposedly named Ronald Smith claiming to be a customs agent from Codex unit Div 78 US Customs saying that agents would be coming to arrest my mother at her house. We reported the call to the local police and the DEA. On the DEA website they claim this is an extortion scam.

Just received a call from someone identifying themselves as Det David White with the US Customs and Border patrol Narcotics Div 78 Badge N2229.
