I just got one and it said I won a free trip. lol I put a block on them.

I get these messages from the Florida Lottery with lottery results and I'd love to be able to stop them.

I received a text from 1(210)100-002 stating the following:

SUBJ:  Transferencia
16196984133
MSG: Su envio fue cobra

I dont speak spanish but according to a translation website the message means:  "your shipment was charged".  There is a hyperlink to the number in the subject line.  I am not going to click on it to find out what happens.  I believe this has to be a scam because neither my wife or I ordered anything that needs to be shipped or charged.

I got a text from them saying I was the May winner of two tickets to stay on their ship followed by this phone number 813 515 1789

Just got a text saying "It's your lucky day, you won 2 tickets for a voyage" and wanted me to call 813-515-1789. I texted back but didn't get a response :(

Just got a text msg from this # with link "cruise2bahamas.net"   I didn't actually click on the link, but when I typed it in it went to a fake Yahoo! and asked me to sign in to my account. I'm assuming this is a phishing scam, since I definitely was not at the real Yahoo! site.

I got this and received a check in the mail is it fake?

This number is still active and fishing.

I got the exact message and a check for almost 2000. I took it to my bank they told me is was fake

No geniuses.  On my message they spelled "your" when it should have been you're.

Received call from 1-210-100 (no 4th digit) from Myrna Ladner saying I had to call 855-782-0902 because I was the monthly vacation winner.  210 area code is in the San Antonio area.  Looks like they're trying all sorts of scams.

Anyone with email can send your a text, if for example on AT&T simply by using your cell phone number and sending an email at a specific domain.

I have seen texts from phone number 1 (210) 100-001, which I believe is AT&T or the email-sms gateway they use, when emails are turned into SMS messages before being delivered to your phone.

I know AT&T lets you disable this capability at mymessages.wireless.att.com.
Why this isn't turned off by default is beyond me.

Keep getting text from 1-210-100-005 saying my balance is $0.00 on a daily basis.  From Money Network

You located in Chicago next to O'Hare airport

Got a text from 1 (210) 100-001:  "Enjoy your trip to the Bahamas for two.  Give us a phone call for info"

I have received two texts from this number. One was for a library book I had requested and the other was for a status update on food delivery.  Both were solicited by me.

Maybe this number is associated with an SMS service like Twilio?

Got a text this morning asking about an ad on craiglist .. Asking to message him thru email

How ridiculous, if your going to try to scam people the least you can do is spell out the word "you". lol Several other grammatical errors as well.
Judging from a few other posts I think this may be coming from Craigslist. I responded to an ad last night about a dog through e-mail. I do not recall ever listing my number with that site but they got it somehow.
