Debt Collector
This company is a JOKE! Yes, you should pay your debts i agree. But its deceptive businesses like this one that make people like myself second guess whos on the other end of the  phone! They are kennan and callaway associates (claiming to be check fraud investigations) collecting on payday loans
They are inflating the balances by 100s of dollars to try and get more out of you than you owe. Theyre using illegal practices and violating the FDCPA ( look it up if you don't know it). They are lying abouy their identities and location as well. They're an office located above an auto repair shop ( from what i can see from other research)  they're affiliated with other numbers ( look them up we aren't the only ones they've done yhia to) 972-330-5902 and 210-209-9949 and 855-304-3747. I had the pleasure (not) of speaking with Richard Ross (an a-hole for lack of better terminology)  and Charles Brooks (an incompetent unintelligent piece of work) . Report them like i have! Since they're in Ny you will want to cll Karen Davis at 716-853-8416. Also let the original creditor know what theyre are doing so maybe they can think twice about who they sell.their debt to! Please do as.i.have record.calls save voicemails and help shut these people down!!

You know it's valid simply by remembering taking out a loan from the company the bill collector discuss with you ,additionally they usually will have the information you provided when you took out the loan such as social security # personal references you provided and much more including the bank you used to secure the loan.Usually you don't have the money there when you promised and the lender ends up not getting there money back and owing a bounced check fee as well. This is why they are calling you to refresh your memory and mabee setup a payment plan to keep you honest.I had done some business with them and I think they are nice people and are professional as well. I was having hard times and Richard Ross helped me out and even sent me a thank you letter in the mail.

I prefer to simply block your 'company' from calling me. It's very easy, just dial *60 and follow the prompts. Problem solved. 'Bye 'bye now :)

You have to prove the debt is valid, in writing.  We're not going to believe every stranger who calls demanding money.

Scammers?  What exactly is your uneducated definition of "scammers"?  How could you encourage anyone to not answer a business phone call?  If it is regarding a debt that they legally owe, that is still within the statute of limitations,  how in the world could anyone think that your advice is worth anything?  You use the term stealing; what is it when you take money from someone and don't pay it back when you are under contract to do so? This company IS legit which is why we leave messages.  No one is stealing anything, and they certainly are hurting themselves if they take advice from a CLOWN like you, who can't even use their real name because they hide behind a computer and probably avoid any debt collector that calls them!

Sincerely,

David Green

Scammers LOVE IT when you call them back. They are so desperate for an opportunity to steal from you over the phone that they even send shills like this clown to encourage you to call them back.

Get called id. Don't answer numbers you don't recognize or anonymous calls. Any legit caller will leave a message. But scammers know they can't steal from an answering machine!

YOU can make the calls stop by simply returning them!  How about that??? It is that easy!  If someone is trying to contact YOU, then MAYBE you should call them back!  It is a very effective way to stop phone calls that are being made to contact you!

Joan,

Thank you for slandering our firm online with your false accusations.  You requested me to jump through hoops for you and obtain information that was simply unobtainable from my standpoint.  We do not steal any information from anyone -- we are a legitimate company and do not violate any laws.  We have many people that are satisfied with how well we do business.   It is very unprofessional for you to say such negative things about a company that you know nothing about simply because you could not dictate our actions and control the situation.  Sorry that we were unable to completely satisfy your demands.

Have a great day!
