Just got a call from Dynamic Recovery Solutions regarding an old Well Fargo debt (over 10 years ago).

Note to anyone who reads this: they are a collection trying to collects on old - outdated debts. They either bought the debts from another agency for pennies on the dollar or from the company themselves (doubt the second option due to the age of the debt). Also, for a secured/signed debt laws states the original creditor must take legal action within 6 years, 3 years on an unsigned debt (i.e.: utility bill, etc.) or the debt to be valid. At this point they are trying "cream" the debt to see if they can get someone to settle it for about 50% (or less) and make you think you got a good deal.
Due to the age of the debt AND before anyone pays (or settles) - check with your credit bureau to see if it is still there. If it is not - don't pay anything - it's too old to take any action. If it is - only offer a SMALL settlement (start at 20%) - of course they will say "NO" but hold out for as little as possible (a month or more). By the way - the best time to "settle" a debt is close to the end of the month. Why? Because the collector/Collection Manager/Collection Agency are trying to "hit" their goals and they are more willing to accept anything. If you decide to settle do not send ANY $$$ until you get something in writing indicating they are going "remove the debt from all credit reports"

They call my cell phone multiple times a day, never anyone there when I answer, they never leave a message. Received a letter from them regarding an account from the mid 1990's with Fingerhut, which I've never had.

Just called me. 42 second call. First 33 seconds, there was no reply; I refused to hang up. Finally, guy asks for Jennifer Castro. Wrong number. Guy then asks for a number to reach her. Again, I have no clue. Asks me if I know her. Said no. Hangs up. No identification or anything. Found this site.

A 2102390081 number called my dad saying he owes money to a certain bank, but my dad has never had service with that bank...tried to get more information regarding their company and they just ignored me and said they couldnt talk to me...my dad mentioned to me that gentlemen he spoke with was very rude

Two reps leaving very obscure VMs but not a name or matter although the 2nd caller does mention Dynamic Recovery Solutions.

Collection agency masking their toll free number with local. Call from Mr. Stein stating that this is an attempt to collect a debt. No other info left.

They keep calling my ten year old's cell phone.  Uh, we've never dealt with this bank and quite frankly she doesn't have any credit cards! We keep calling them back and telling them they are dialing the wrong number and they won't quit calling. She is ten years old for gods sake!!!!

This guy would not identify himself and was verbally abusive. Acted as though he was somwe kind oflaw enforcement or from the irs or some agency that is not required to identify themselves. A real jerk. Made me want to drive to San Antonio and teach him how to speak to people correctly.

Got a call from 210-239-0081. It was from a company called Dynamic Recovery Solutions. The guy claimed I had an FCNB credit card back in 1994 to 1997 and the balance was $15000.00. I never had a credit card back then so I knew he was full of bs. He threatened that they were going to take me to court over it. I just called him a few choice words and hung up on him. I might call him back and call him a few more choice words...lol

Spoke to Jessica about a debt of mind for a MC that has a $3000 bill from 2001 that was already in the legal process.  DONT LISTEN TO THEM! First, that debt amount is incorrect and was resolved years ago and is not on my report. Second, it's too old so the lie about it being on my taxes and in the courts is total bull.

All you have to say is "I do not acknowledge this debt. Do not call me again or I will report you"

Hang up. They will try to bully you into paying.

I got a call from this crook looking for somebody yesterday. He didn't seem like an a** to me thankfully. Is there a way to report fraud to the local police?

I rec'd the same call..IT IS A COLLECTION AGENCY, the pretend to know you...they told me I gave them my number...lies....just disregard it and hang up on them

Scam or no scam. Why would you pay a 6+ year old debt. It can only ride your credit report for 7 years. So, whatever damage was to be done to your credit score has already been done. If you pay the debt now it will re-age it and impact your credit all over again. Don't talk to these people. Above all, don't acknowledge the debt. To acknowledge a debt this old can also re-age it.

i got a called from this number too she said i owe $974 from back in 2006,she new i had a bank account ,a line of credit and she new the name of my credit union,she new everything she said if i didnt pay they were going  to take legal action she gave me this number to call her back 888-363-9258 is htis a scam or a collection agency?? but wait she said because of the holidays they were running a special so i can settle for  $400 she said that is 500 off just because of the holidays BUT you have to pay the next day

Got a call & decided to answer, which usually don't do from #'s not recognized. Woman asked if I was "so & so"  I replied no she said this # was given as a good contact #. I was like and...Im not the person yr looking for and asked the rude woman did the individual u named personally give you this #...she said no but they show to be the owner of this cell phone. So I replied if you were not given this number personally by the owner or myself yr invading our privacy. She got loud speaking over me continuously asking do I know the person then. I kept saying do not call this # again as u are harrasing me & invading my privacy!!!!!!! she got frustrated & hung up.

Just got a call from these guys. Left me a message. It is an obvious scam or collection agency trying to sound important. deleted the message.

I just got a call from DRS staded that I owed $9000.00 on Master Card from First USA Bank.
Dated back from 2001 and never made payments. I have never applied or ever had a Master Card from that bank. How did they get my phone number and social security number. Is this a scam? or what no way I owe $9000.00.

I got the same call to my cell phone!  They threatened that legal action was pending without my knowledge.  This debt is old and not even on my credit report any more.  I told them not to call again and hung up.  This is third party collection agency.
